id like to build a rackmount set-up to get more versitility out of my bass rig im using an ampeg B5R and an ampeg classic cab im using a bass i made myself. thing is i need some sugestions about what to get and what not to get.

Ok dumb question but, Every time i wire up a guitar i end up with a hum that stops when you touch metal. I know you have to link the grounds together somehow and solder them to the wire on the bringe ground i dont know what im doing wrong i need some guidence. *

there is a few things Hipshot makes an Extender key with a lever on it that drops the tuning.

and you could maybe take the locking nut off alot of people do that. and just use the tuners

probably not. check the length from the nut to the 12 fret then check from the 12 fret to your bridge. they have to match.
