For those of you who do not get versus, that link will come in handy

Kev, are there reasons that keep you here that we don't know about?ToonaRockGuy wrote:Game 2 on NBC.
Games 3 & 4 on Vs. (Channel 39 on Atlantic Broadband, yay me!)
Games 5, 6 & 7 (if needed) on NBC.

What a game! Tell ya what, whoever wins this thing is gonna pay the price, as the Pens came out just NASTY mean. You can tell that they are not intimidated like they were last year. Great game, but they need to shoot more. The defensemen (especially Gonchar) were really super-hesitant about shooting, always looking to pass to Malkin, Crosby, and Stahl. Can't quite figure that one out.
Glad Detroit got the win, though. Darren Helm (#43) is gonna be awesome as the years go on. Speedy little bastard, that one.
Game 2, tomorrow night! Go Wings!!
Oh, and I have to bust...best goal scorer on the night? M.A. Fleury. 2 shots, 2 own goals. The Wings thank you.
ROTFL, Yeah, they are that strong. I do support local teams, I root for Penn State unless they are playing Michigan, and I do root for the Pens unless they are playing the Red Wings. I grew up literally 2 blocks from Michigan Stadium, and my pop always managed to have season tickets for the Wings and the Detroit Tigers when I was a kid. It's in my blood. I have turned into a serious Steelers fan over the last 10 years, though. No sense in rooting for the Lions.undercoverjoe wrote:Kev, are there reasons that keep you here that we don't know about?ToonaRockGuy wrote:Game 2 on NBC.

You always take Michigan over Penn State and now the Redwings over the Pens. You have been here for a while now. You could let yourself start to like local teams, just maybe a little. Are those Michigan ties that strong?
The only way they can call a penalty on that play, according to the NHL rulebook, is if Zetterberg had closed his hand on the puck. There was no way for the refs to see it, and only questionable goals are reviewable in the NHL. I slo-mo'd it on my DVR, and I couldn't tell if he did or not. I suspect he did, but couldn't see it.MeYatch wrote: In a related note, why the hell wasn't there a delay of game penalty on zetterburg covering up the puck when it was laying on osgood?
I will give the Red Wings credit for having one of the best teams to ever hit the ice, but there's no way Abracadabra or whatever that guy who scored last night is a first line player. They are a good fourth line, but with the salary cap there is no way they are better than any other teams first line.Little Devil Girl wrote:NOT BAD FOR A BUNCH OF OLD, TIRED AND INJURED GUYS!!! KEEP GOING WINGS!!!!!!
HELL, THEIR 4TH LINE WAS AWESOME!! SOME TEAMS WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT LINE FOR THEIR FIRST!!!!!
Maybe if the Pens do something worth talking about, LOL!Rich wrote:NBC comment-taters, are so bias!!! You'd think the Wings are paying them to talk...
