Again I will defend my friends here, quit blaming the "out of the area" band if you don't know the facts! (read Becky Sheetz Building Fracus Thread). You admitted to not knowing the facts, but continue to blame the other band and that's not fair and not what happened. As I said before, the...

Absolutely Rob, it may be because heavier music is not as socially accepted as other forms of music. Rap and Hip-Hop genres are enjoying mainstream success these days while the heavier scene continues to stay underground for the most part. Nobody wants to point the finger at P Diddy when their kids ...

Sorry if I took your posts the wrong way. I was just sticking up for my friends in the band. Sounded like the blame was already trying to be put on the entertainment and that's bullshit. Some people have pre-conceived notions that a "heavy" band means trouble or violence.

BTW, ever notice that when stuff like this happens it's usually "Oh it was that heavy, rowdy, band from out of town's fault"? It sure couldn't be OUR own local kids who started trouble, or our own venue who didn't have proper security, who obviously didn't have proper problem solving skill...

I have played many shows with Ken, Frankie, and the boys from at hope's end, 969, N.W.R. etc. and I can say that I've never seen trouble from these guys before, ever! Frankie is a great frontman who has on many occasions spoken out about being careful out on the dance floor and NOT letting anyone ge...

RadioAid.com

In researching some facts regarding Clear Channel I stumbled upon this website www.radioaid.com (formerly www.clearchannelsucks.net). I encourage all of you to visit this site not only to promote indie and unsigned artists everywhere, but also to learn how Clear Channel has once again tried to flex ...

www.clearchannelsucks.net - GO THERE! Just there and it seems that by some bunk court ruling, clearchannelsucks.net had to give the website over to Clear Channel! How about that!!?? Prime example of the bully tactic this company is used to using. Theres further info about radioaid.com who seems more...

Great post Punkinhead! Way too many bands are focused on becoming the next "big thing" and they lose themselves in the process. They end up becoming victims of a wicked industry who only cares about the next big radio hit. But, this absolutely does tie into previous posts about Clear Chann...

Sorry Rob, just that all your posts seem like you know exactly what's best for the world, "dont smoke, don't litter, don't do this or that, take care of each other," blah, blah. The real world ain't like that buddy, I wish it was, but it isn't and what really starts to piss me off is when ...

Sorry, but I'd rather be shot than support anything affiliated with Clear Channel! This monopoly has bullied the entire music industry for way too long! Dude, that's flat out comical!! All these people crying, "Your second hand smoke is killing me". What a fucking joke. You could be locked in a smoke filled bar for years and still not get cancer. Don't tell me my actions are killing people. It's your own damn actions that are hurting you w...

I'm not trying to sound like a dick here, so don't take this the wrong way. I can easily comprehend banning smoking in, say, a coffee shop, book store, even a fine dining establishment and so forth; but like I said before, a bar is a bar is a bar. It's one of the few places that people can go to cut...
