If you don't have a budget or means to pay the talent, why is there a show going on? It's like a restaurant hiring cooks and wait staff and telling them they need to get their friends to come in if they want paid. Why are you in business?

Do the sound company, security, etc. need to sell tickets?

Would you cconsider selling only the foot switch and controller together?

Looking for light controller with footswitch to change scenes, do fades, blink fast/slow, etc. We have 8 lights on 2 trees now.

We will also consider more equipment (complete setup) regular or LED to upgrade what we have.

I was in a band like that once......or twice.......

1. A bar should not book entertainment if they are not able to pay for it.

2. If the bar does not have regular patrons, refer to #1.

3. If the bar is not going to pay what you expect for the night, they should let you know that before the night ends.

After much thought, I think it might be a difference of opinion whether you want to "blow away" the crowd and show off your awesome talent, or whether you want to provide entertainment for the gathering and they go home remembering the great time they had.
