This is interesting, How many band out there use contracts? It would be nice if we could have a list of the clubs that have abused local bands. And what to do to protect our investments. Back in the old days we had a union. It wasn't the best but it was some leverage. Deb

The most money I ever made was when I played for free on the Boardwalk at Ocean City MD. We had a guitar case full of money in a few short hours. Play what your crowd wants to hear with a good attutude you will soon find out what your worth. Good Luck Deb

We have comedy shows, but not open mic. But the group of comedians we get in find it interesting when someone in the local area has an interest in comedy and will give them a shot on stage for about 15 minutes. We had one guy that did it that way and really did a decent job. Hi that sounds like fun...

I too had b-day parties at Alaskaland. I just can't remember the little door.
Where was it ? Where did it go.? It was alway very busy. I seem to remember a bear. The volcano ice cream was my favorite too. I can remember the food LoL
