I think NObama, Holder and all his Wall St. crooks crossed the line. They have been breaking the laws of the Constitution every day they are in Washington DC.

I think Jim should lock this thread now, before it turns into a 200 page slug fest.

If you call making it worse cleaning it up, then so be it.

Oh hell with it. I'm tired of going through this circle of nothingness.

While what Nugent said was pretty wild, it doesn't constitute a legitimate verbal threat to the president or any other specific person or group. If they bring charges against him for what he said, it is further proof that we are no longer living in a free country.

Politics has always been a contact sport...wtf happened all of a sudden that you all expect kumbayah? Dat shit ain't gonna happen.

Obama should be a lot more worried about his praetorian guard. God only knows who has what kind of dirt on which SS agents and could blackmail them into an assassination setup.

U.S. credit rating AAA downgrade, increase in national debt, unconstitutional healthcare bill, over regulations (which are killing business' in America),wants to end the coal industry and coal fired power plants, high unemployment rate, moratorium on Oil Drilling in the Gulf.....tell me,are you doing better today with $4.00 a gallon gas? It was what,$1.85 when Obama took office? Maybe you don't realize the high oil prices not only increase the cost of gas and fuel oil,it also raises the price of everything that is shipped by truck. He wants to raise taxes on the rich....who will pay that in the end? The middle class working Americans. Who do you think owns the places where people work? Sure as hell ain't the poor. Another term with the current President and we'll be a third world country. I hate to tell you but Obama don't give two shits about America and Americans...

Yep. Remember the movie that was made about Bush's assassination? Not even a peep about in the press. Ted said what he said and it had no connection to making any attempt to harm Obama. Stupid is as stupid does on both sides of this coin.

George W. Bush inherited a strong economy, a budget surplus, and a nation at peace. Eight years later, he left Obama with a shattered economy, a trillion dollar deficit, and two usless wars. He had wiped out a 5.6 trillion dollar surplus in 2 years and the national debt hit 10 trillion dollars on his watch. Remember how right wingers screamed about that? No? That's because they didn't.

Obama saved the country from another Great Depression, rebuilt GM, saved tens of thousands of auto industry (and related industries) jobs; put 100's of millions of dollars into AMERICAN infrastructure (putting/keeping tens of thousands of AMERICANs working!); reformed healthcare (Obamacare is basically the same as Romneycare in MA and the Gingrich NATIONAL healthcare proposal of 1996 - which also REQUIRED all citizens to have health care insurance!); reformed Wall Street (or, is trying to), more than doubled the stock market; over 70% of the Obama stimulus money has been paid back (none of the W stimulus money was as it went into the pockets of the banking industry CEOs); created 8 straight quarters of GDP growth, created 22 straight months of private sector job growth; interception and return of illegal (sorry, "undocumented") immigrants crossing our border with Mexico is at an all-time high; got Bin Laden, got Gaddafi, and got us out of Iraq. Whew, no wonder he takes a little vacation time now and then!

Most of Obama's comtinued defecit is because he's still paying Bush's bills.

President Obama took 61 vacation days during his first 31 months in office. For W, on the other hand, the total is 967 days, or 32% of his total time in office, spent on vacations or retreats during his 8-year term. George W. Bush spent at least 20 million taxpayer dollars just on flights to his ranch in Crawford alone - you remember, that's where he had those hand-holding strolls through his garden with the Saudi Prince! Among Reagan, George I, Clinton, W, and Obama, percentage of time on vacation/retreats while in office, from most to least … W, Reagan, George I, Obama, Clinton … my-o-my, those hard working physical conservatives!

The downgrade came because a republican congress threatened to not raise the debt ceiling (that's against the law, the law says congress cannot renege on it's bills) and that threat that bills might not be paid caused ONE company to lower the rating - Republicans - Tea Party - fault ! Obviously your sources didn't report that.

Drilling for oil has increased and oil production has greatly increased under Obama compared to Bush. Or didn't you news sources report that ?Obviously you have been lied to when told that increased production would lower gas prices. Does that bother you that the right fooled you into believing that increased production would lower gas prices ? The refineries have simply INCREASED sales to foreign countries (of the refined products) with YOUR oil. Does that bother you ? AND they want to keep the subsidies we Americans GIVE them ? Record profits. They sell of OUR oil. WE subsidise THEM. And the right wants to keep it that way ? How about you, do you want to keep it that way, or would you side with Obama, who wants to STOP subsidising them.

In case you didn't know it, the rich and their top companies are enjoying a great economy. They are making a RECORD PROFITS ! Or didn't your news sources report that ? Did you know that ? Do you know they are hoarding trillions of dollars ? Or don't your news sources report that ? All I want is to back to Reagan era taxes. They (the rich) own most of the nation's wealth now. They can afford to pay better wages and STILL make record profits. They can afford to pay Reagan era taxes and STILL make record profits. They aren't doing shit for the middle class now, and they fooled the likes of some people that they need protection because they OWN everything ?LOL

I hate to tell you, but most of the top 5% don't give a shit about YOU (plural) !

Obama health care is basically what the Republicans (all the way back to Nixon) wanted. Didn't you news sources tell you that ? I suppose you prefer that health care is for the wealthy and screw anyone who can't afford it ? Yeah, that's a real American for you...

Considered yourself rebutted.

You might think of getting you news from more than right wing sources, you're missing a lot.

You can't show me anywhere where a left winger made a threat to Bush and it wasn't denounced by all the left wing politicians and left wing media. Where as Nugent is beloved by the right for his outrageous statements.

I would agree with Reagan era tax rates. I don't see anything wrong with it. I would want it to be a flat tax though, which entails everyone to pay it, whether you are a business or a human, regardless of pay rate. It should also have no deductions. There are too many loopholes to get out paying with deductions.

Then I would also like to see a consumption tax, with no limitations, everyone pays it. And no refunds on how much you paid on it. That way the 48% who don't pay income tax also pay their share.
