U.S. credit rating AAA downgrade, increase in national debt, unconstitutional healthcare bill,over regulations (which are killing business' in America),wants to end the coal industry and coal fired power plants,high unemployment rate,moratorium on Oil Drilling in the Gulf.....tell me,are you doing better today with $4.00 a gallon gas? It was what,$1.85 when Obama took office? Maybe you don't realize the high oil prices not only increase the cost of gas and fuel oil,it also raises the price of everything that is shipped by truck. He wants to raise taxes on the rich....who will pay that in the end? The middle class working Americans. Who do you think owns the places where people work? Sure as hell ain't the poor. Obama saved the country from another Great Depression, rebuilt GM, saved tens of thousands of auto industry (and related industries) jobs; put 100's of millions of dollars into AMERICAN infrastructure (putting/keeping tens of thousands of AMERICANs working!); reformed healthcare (Obamacare is basically the same as Romneycare in MA and the Gingrich NATIONAL healthcare proposal of 1996 - which also REQUIRED all citizens to have health care insurance!); reformed Wall Street (or, is trying to), more than doubled the stock market; over 70% of the Obama stimulus money has been paid back (none of the W stimulus money was as it went into the pockets of the banking industry CEOs); created 8 straight quarters of GDP growth, created 22 straight months of private sector job growth; interception and return of illegal (sorry, "undocumented") immigrants crossing our border with Mexico is at an all-time high; got Bin Laden, got Gaddafi, and got us out of Iraq. Whew, no wonder he takes a little vacation time now and then!

Most of Obama's comtinued defecit is because he's still paying Bush's bills.

For W, on the other hand, the total is 967 days, or 32% of his total time in office, spent on vacations or retreats during his 8-year term. George W. Bush spent at least 20 million taxpayer dollars just on flights to his ranch in Crawford alone - you remember, that's where he had those hand-holding strolls through his garden with the Saudi Prince! The downgrade came because a republican congress threatened to not raise the debt ceiling (that's against the law, the law says congress cannot renege on it's bills) and that threat that bills might not be paid caused ONE company to lower the rating - Republicans - Tea Party - fault ! Obviously your sources didn't report that.

Drilling for oil has increased and oil production has greatly increased under Obama compared to Bush. Or didn't you news sources report that ?Obviously you have been lied to when told that increased production would lower gas prices. Does that bother you that the right fooled you into believing that increased production would lower gas prices ? The refineries have simply INCREASED sales to foreign countries (of the refined products) with YOUR oil. Does that bother you ? AND they want to keep the subsidies we Americans GIVE them ? Record profits. They sell of OUR oil. WE subsidise THEM. And the right wants to keep it that way ? I would agree with Reagan era tax rates. I don't see anything wrong with it. I would want it to be a flat tax though, which entails everyone to pay it, whether you are a business or a human, regardless of pay rate. It should also have no deductions. There are too many loopholes to get out paying with deductions.

Then I would also like to see a consumption tax, with no limitations, everyone pays it. And no refunds on how much you paid on it. That way the 48% who don't pay income tax also pay their share.
