Harry Connick, Jr. Who listens to him?
I have been listening to this guy a lot lately. I like his style, he has some pretty funky stuff.
Anyone else like him?

yeah the Christmas stuff, I like his versions of the classics cause he does have that jazzy thing happening. I haven't really tried much of his other stuff but probably should.....

The Christmas album has some of the best jazz and big band arrangements ever written for traditional holiday songs. He does a song called "It Must Have Been Ol' Santa Clause" and the New Orleans second line groove is old school N'Awlins greasy funk. The more classically influenced songs are done in a more swing/bebop style which makes them a little more catchy. There are some dull moments with the few ballads though.
I also recommend Brian Setzer's Boogie Woogie Christmas. If you like big band style screaming trumpet licks and a swinging rhythm section, both these guys have it.
