This was discussed at Casa Douchéz last evening and here's what we came up with:HaRd AtTacK wrote:Do the Stillers have a chance at the playoffs?
IF the Steelers win out ... and the rest of the league either loses or ties in the rest of their games ... and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers revert back to their gay, orange and pink uniforms ... and the Raiders move back to Los Angeles ...
Then and only then do the Steelers have a shot (a shot, mind you) at the playoffs.
Go Steelers.

That's what she said.

I'm sorry but, try as I might, I will not really be able to root for anyone other than the Steelers. I am a fan of teams, like Green Bay because of how tough Brett Favre is but, I'm really not rooting for anyone other than the Steelers.HaRd AtTacK wrote:Philly may still have half a chance? Let's all root for them! Agreed??
Oh, and I will always root against the Pats, Ravens, Bengals, and Cowboys.
If youth knew; if age could.
I dislike rooting against any team because of too many negative waves
I can see likinga team but why hate one?
Only if it helps the Stillers..
but they are hopeless this year so Philly is next logical choice (both PA teams) Philly has a chance
I also like Dallas and Parcel but especially Indy with Manning!

It's really quite simple. I can and I choose to.
I mostly root against teams for various reasons:
1. They are full of assholes - see Ray Lewis, Brian Billick, Jamaal Lewis, Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson
2. They are a thorn in the Steelers side - see the Pats
3. They are from Dallas and have the Cowboys as the nickname.
4. If everyone starts kissing someone's ass, I'll start to hate them too because, in reality, they should kiss my ass instead.

If youth knew; if age could.
