Good music, and thanks to my wife and daughter I've seen the movie about a trillion times. Hell, I even started knowing the dialog.
"Nobody puts Baby in the corner ..." LOL
C'mon, man, don't blame the wife and daughter ... you dig the movie just like all the other people here who are afraid to admit it.

I used to have such a thing for Molly Ringwald .. I used to watch The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles just to look at her ..
And Yes, the soundtrack for Urban Cowboy is pretty good also. That is actually my third favorite movie of all time .. Go ahead and laugh, I don't care. I love that movie .. I can watch it over and over again, and never get sick of it ..

I always thought The Dark Side would be a cool song to remake.
I have the soundtrack Eddie and the Cruisers and also John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band which is really the same album since they did the soundtrack too. I swiped them from my uncle when I was a kid and damn near wore them out back then .
A person is getting along the road to wisdom when they begin to realize that their opinion is just another opinion !
"The Wall"
"The Song Remains The Same"
"Purple Rain"
"Help"
"Grease" (I can't help that one!)
"Animal House" (For "Shout!", let alone the other tunes.)
"Oh Brother, Where Art Thou", most definitely!
...and what is the flick where a group of College friends get together after one of the clique's deaths, possibly a Suicide? The one chick wants her husband to impregnate another chick, unless I'm confusing it with another flick...from what I recall, it has great tuneage throughout...
