C'mon, man, don't blame the wife and daughter ... you dig the movie just like all the other people here who are afraid to admit it. :D

Harold & Maude

The whole soundtrack is by Cat Stevens, who even wrote 2 songs on it just for the movie. An official soundtrack was never released.

I used to have such a thing for Molly Ringwald .. I used to watch The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles just to look at her ..

And Yes, the soundtrack for Urban Cowboy is pretty good also. That is actually my third favorite movie of all time .. Go ahead and laugh, I don't care. I love that movie .. I can watch it over and over again, and never get sick of it ..

I once dated a girl that use to look like Molly Ringwald. The key phrase is "use to". *LOL*
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.

How about the Dracula 2000 soundtrack? That SOAD remake of Berlin's "The Metro" is pretty cool.

I always dug the first Crow soundtrack. The soundtrack to Get Carter is cool. Oh Brother is awsome

Hey Mo , I sent ya that P.M. !

I always thought The Dark Side would be a cool song to remake. 8)

I have the soundtrack Eddie and the Cruisers and also John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band which is really the same album since they did the soundtrack too. I swiped them from my uncle when I was a kid and damn near wore them out back then .

Grosse Pointe Blank, vol. 1 and 2 are very good.

Vision Quest. Where else are you going to get Dio, Hagar, Madonna, John Waite and Journey all on one soundtrack?

Purple Rain.

"The Wall"
"The Song Remains The Same"
"Purple Rain"
"Help"
"Grease" (I can't help that one!)
"Animal House" (For "Shout!", let alone the other tunes.)
"Oh Brother, Where Art Thou", most definitely!

...and what is the flick where a group of College friends get together after one of the clique's deaths, possibly a Suicide? The one chick wants her husband to impregnate another chick, unless I'm confusing it with another flick...from what I recall, it has great tuneage throughout...
