GOTH BANDS
How about the South Park episode where Robert Smith saved South Park from "Mecha-Streisand", a giant evil Barbra Streisand. Man I love that show. Oh, and if shauna_14 hates Goth I do too...I'm such a conformist. Oh wait, that's supposed to be bad, right? Ah, this goth stuff is too confusing...

you don't get it? does your dad "get" what you do??ToonaRockGuy wrote:The Cure, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, Manson, Autumn Tears, Front 242, Nine Inch Nails, Nosferatu, Project Pitchfork, Digital Factor are some examples of Goth.
It's not necessarily the sound, it's the music as a whole. Deep, dark, lamenting, emotional, whiny, like a darker grunge.
Like grunge with horrible makeup.
Like grunge with horrible makeup, and some of them think they are vampires.
It's just rather disturbing, really. At least to me. I don't get it. But I do dig some of the goth music. It can be great when you're in the right mood.

i think the Goth l@@k is great!

Don't try to start again with me, troll.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I personally don't "get" why some 18 year old goth thinks that their life sucks, when they haven't even lived yet.
You're entitled to your opinion, I'm entitled to mine. End of story, end of argument before it even starts.
And hopefully, end of thread.

I will not argue this subject with you on the internet.
Now if you want to argue in person, I'll be at The Hitching Post in Altoona on Saturday night, playing a Halloween celebration with Banditos. Showtime is 10:30PM. Feel free to come on out and catch the show, there's no cover charge. I'll be more than happy to debate you in person. I'll be behind the drumset.

Yea, that was funny...I liked when the brother or whatever would come in the room and say things like "We're supposed to meet Mom at the Olive Garden" (I worked there at the time so it was extra funny), and they would get all embarrassed that they had a normal life like everyone else after all.Anyone recall the "Goth" sketch from SNL? A frickin' RIOT! The dude's name was "Azriel Abyss" and I can't remember Molly Shannon's name - but as soon as I thought of some of the sketches, I LOL!
Does anyone remember the other sketch where they used to say, 'everyone knows the hostesses at the OliveGarden are all whores, them with their hot fresh breadsticks....' We used to say this at work all the time.

That was Kevin, or as he's otherwise known, "Toona"...were you really there, or did you just read about him playing and you're only playing more of your sick, twisted games? You could have seen his picture somewhere, perhaps on the Hurricanes' site. Why don't you stop being a Troll and allow everyone to have their opinions without seeming to take it personally? There is a part of a Zep lyric I'd have loved to have Posted on the Lyrics Thread, but I have refused to, due to you. I realize that is childish, but I feel it's the principle of the thing. I'd rather have a truce and Peace than War. I have nothing to hide. I'll be at Peter C's tonight, Victory Lanes tomorrow and it's a quandry for me, I haven't seen/heard the Banditos in far too long, but I'd already planned on The Grimm and The Flame Sky for Saturday. Of course, I almost never miss a Sunday at the Hitching Post.

The brother would also come in and beat him up, LOL! I don't remember the Olive Garden reference in a sketch, but mmmmm, I love the Olive Garden's Soup, Salad and Breadsticks, anytime, not just for lunch. Their Sangria is to DIE for and the Chocolate Lasagna, too!
Although, I usually get the Dessert "to go".

WAAAAY off topic!!!

I have it on very good authority that you ARE, indeed, a woman and
WOMAN, GET A GRIP ON REALITY, OKAY?
I'd wager I know you and as a Troll, you ARE #1...I "always seem to show up with Kevin"? HAHAHA!
In another Post, you said I "always seemed to show up with Rob"! So, which is it? Actually, in that particular Post, Rob was the one who "showed up", but I digress. I don't know what I'll be wearing tonight, but I was the one wearing all Black on Sunday night and it was just what I was wearing that particular evening...my shirt had a Gold "Allman Brothers Band" circle in the middle...yet you "didn't see me". It IS to LAUGH! By the way, my first name is Donna...Dave the Doorman at Peter C's - he is a friend of mine - did you know it's his truck the 'Canes are on tonight? Ask him to introduce us...I can hardly wait.
now you claim you were there.. oh really wear were you sitting? i danced all night but i never saw you???YankeeRose wrote:no surrender wrote:

I'm actually beginning to sort of feel sorry for you...I NEVER SAID I WASN'T there...go back and READ...
I was there all night and while I admit I did LOL more than danced on that particular evening, I did indeed, dance to "I Know A Little", one of my favs...and SEVERAL other tunes and I was still there for the last song - was it "Melissa", or was it actually "We Are Family"...
YOU tell me, IF you really were there... ...and yes, they are doing their 2nd annual Trick or Treat ride through Altoona...if I'm still in the area, maybe I'll be able to make next year's.
you don't remember which song but you expect me to?? sorry i can't.. all kinda blurryYankeeRose wrote:no surrender wrote:now you claim you were there.. oh really wear were you sitting? i danced all night but i never saw you???YankeeRose wrote:
