The Musician Death Thread
I'm sad to hear about Peppi Marchello. I met him a few years ago when the Good Rats played a freebie concert in Greensburg. He looked shocked when I brought a vinyl copy of the Good Rats' From Rats to Riches album up to him after the show to get autographed.
Every summer, the Good Rats do a special weekend event called "Ratstock," sort of a camping/music festival with them headlining. They used to do it in northeastern PA, and I almost attended it a few years ago following that Greensburg concert. Now I wish I had attended.
Here is another article about his passing: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainmen ... -1.1396255
Here is a song they did during that Greensburg show; this had just been released prior to the concert. The video features cameo appearances by Peppi Marchello, his sons are the singer and drummer. R.I.P.

Eugene Clair, foudre of Clair Brothers,
Eugene and Roy Clair started "Clair Brothers" (now known as Clair Global) in the 1960s in Lititz, PA. It has grown to be the best and most awarded sound company in the industry. I can't explain how much this company has revolutionized the sound industry. Take a drive through Lititz, PA and see how they have influenced the entire town as well.
Eugene has passed away today.
May 6, 1940 – December 3, 2013.
