The Musician Death Thread
The Musician Death Thread
Since several Rockpagers suggested a Musician Death Thread, I figured I might as well start it with this one.
Alvin Lee of Ten Years After R.I.P.

I was thinking the same thing, Moxham123.
From the pro wrestling realm, Paul Bearer from the WWE died as well. He actually was a certified funeral director and embalmer in real life outside the squared circle.

In lieu of the better option, which would be if people would just stop dying, I guess consolidating it into one thread is the next best thing. Hopefully this will make complaints over all the dead threads a "dead" issue.

Re: The Musician Death Thread
What a great guitarist. I got see Ten Years After in the early 70s at the War Memorial Arena in Johnstown along with Wild Turkey (featuring bassist Glen Cornick previously with Jethro Tull), and Law. What a great concert. I still have the flyer and ticket stub.
A little taste of how good Alvin was.

Annette Funicello R.I.P.
She had some hit records too. Plus, she did this song with The Beach Boys.
The Monkey's Uncle - The Beach Boys (with Annette Funicello) - written by the Sherman Brothers. It was released as single for Annette Funicello in 1965. It was not released as a Beach Boys single.

Andy Johns, RIP. Engineer and producer who leaves us with an incredible catalog of great rock music. He's most often cited for his work with Led Zeppelin and the Stones but he worked on a ton of other classic records too.
