No brainer.
Same reason people should not list on face book where they are, what they are doing, when they going on vacation, facebook location check ins, etc.

Pro-sound rule: While it's sometimes helpful to label roadcases that look alike, as to what they contain, don't put the word "MICROPHONES" on the outside of your mic box. Most mics don't have a serial number, are useable by everyone in music (no matter what genre) and are very easy to fence. They'll steal that FIRST.

That's all well and good, but I am a bass player, not the brightest bulb on the tree by definition so how am I suppose to know which case has the microphones. Hell I have my rig stenciled BASS AMP so I know which one it is!!!
