I went with Chet, even though Page is way ahead and will win.

I voted for Chet Atkins too. That clip of him playing is amazing, but so then is just about every clip of him I have ever seen been amazing.

I can't, I am sitting this one out. Although I think Duane will win.

I just looked and Duane is way ahead......And Jimmy Page killed Chet Atkins yesterday.

Note: The winner of this one will be going up against SRV next. SRV will win that one. - Jimmy Hendrix is going up against Gilmour next. I think Hendrix will win that one, and then it will be Hendrix against SRV. That is going to be a close one, but I think Hendrix will win...

Randy Rhoades is facing Eddy Van Halen next. Wow...

I went with Gilmour. You can't compare Angus Young to him. There is no way I could vote against him. He will win .. He will also be going against Hendrix next. That is going to be a close one, but I think Hendrix will win.

Eddie is way ahead in the early voting, and the winner will go against Randy Rhoads. That will be an interesting poll.

Slash isn't as likable either. That has to factor in. He does have more teeth though.

EVH all the way.. EVH and Randy Rhoades will make an interesting match up. Rhoades will win, though. My final of Hendrix going against Rhoades still stands.

I had to go with Patrucci on this one. He is also in the lead.

Patrucci will win this one and then go against Toni Iommi. He will win that one also.

Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 3 — Steve Vai Vs. Ritchie Blackmore

http://www.guitarworld.com/poll-greates ... -blackmore

Vai is comfortably ahead as of now, but surprise, Tuesday's matchup saw Dave Mustaine (50.79%) defeat John Petrucci (49.21%), and Petrucci was way ahead in the early voting.

Wow!

Although come to think of it, Mustaine truly might be a more interesting guitarist than Petrucci. He writes great riffs, and he's an excellent lead player with some really nice ideas. Petrucci, even with his otherworldly tone and technique, can be pretty dull. Even at G3 where Petrucci was firmly in the spotlight, I found myself paying more attention to Mike Portnoy.

Seriously!? Wow ! That is a shocker. By less than a % also ... When it comes to playing Patrucci is better than Mustaine (Albeit that Mustaine is a great guitar player), but I guess Mustaine is more popular than Patrucci.

I went with Via on this one.

Thursday's matchup saw Dimebag Darrell (71.38%) defeat Vernon Reid (28.62%).

So far, Johnson is narrowly ahead. I'm voting for Buddy.

I went with Robert Johnson (Even though Buddy Guy is a God), since he is the father of the blues. I think even Buddy Guy would even vote for Robert Johnson on this one.
