I just looked and Duane is way ahead......And Jimmy Page killed Chet Atkins yesterday.
Note: The winner of this one will be going up against SRV next. SRV will win that one. - Jimmy Hendrix is going up against Gilmour next. I think Hendrix will win that one, and then it will be Hendrix against SRV. That is going to be a close one, but I think Hendrix will win...
Randy Rhoades is facing Eddy Van Halen next. Wow...

I went with Gilmour. You can't compare Angus Young to him. There is no way I could vote against him. He will win .. He will also be going against Hendrix next. That is going to be a close one, but I think Hendrix will win.undercoverjoe wrote:Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 3 — Angus Young Vs. David Gilmour

Eddie is way ahead in the early voting, and the winner will go against Randy Rhoads. That will be an interesting poll.Gallowglass wrote:Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 3 — Eddie Van Halen Vs. Slash

EVH all the way.. EVH and Randy Rhoades will make an interesting match up. Rhoades will win, though. My final of Hendrix going against Rhoades still stands.Gallowglass wrote:Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 3 — Eddie Van Halen Vs. Slash

Although come to think of it, Mustaine truly might be a more interesting guitarist than Petrucci. He writes great riffs, and he's an excellent lead player with some really nice ideas. Petrucci, even with his otherworldly tone and technique, can be pretty dull. Even at G3 where Petrucci was firmly in the spotlight, I found myself paying more attention to Mike Portnoy.

Seriously!? Wow ! That is a shocker. By less than a % also ... When it comes to playing Patrucci is better than Mustaine (Albeit that Mustaine is a great guitar player), but I guess Mustaine is more popular than Patrucci.undercoverjoe wrote:Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 3 — Steve Vai Vs. I went with Robert Johnson (Even though Buddy Guy is a God), since he is the father of the blues. I think even Buddy Guy would even vote for Robert Johnson on this one.Gallowglass wrote:Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 3 — Robert Johnson Vs. Buddy Guy
