Oh, THAT'S why Joe Arpaio did that Obama-Birther stunt! He's mad because the DOJ wants him to follow the REAL Constitution, and not the Minutemen Vigilante version!

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-05-0 ... -says.html

Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

But wait, Sherriff Joe says it's a ploy to curry favor with Latino voters (who quit voting with the Catholic voting bloc, because of people like Joe).

http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/ ... o-brk.html

Famed wing-nut hit-piece writer, Jerome Corsi, says it's all politics, but does allude to prosecutorial misconduct, disbarring of prominent GOP-based lawyers attempting to cover up massive corrpution in the Sherriff's Dept, and even begrudgingly touches upon Arpaio's reported lack of investigations into numerous sex crimes (some against children). Apparently, Sherriff Joe's too busy grandstanding for "Kloset Klansmen," running in Latinos instead of busting predators.

http://www.wnd.com/2012/05/sheriff-joe- ... g=politics

Baba Hooey, you can post ALL the blog-trash you want, buddy. Go ahead. I can hardly wait to see how the whacko-net reacts.

"President Barack Obama said on Wednesday that members of the U.S. military are "fighting on my behalf."

I kinda thought the US military fought for the country and the Constitution.

The GOP wants to cut MORE safety-net programs, to keep the Military/Industrial Complex nice and rich.

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/art ... 4d41defac4

Obviously, it'll never pass in the Senate, and Big Bad O will draw a page-sized "F.U." on it if it hits his desk, but it's simply another fail at election-year politics from the GOP/TP.
Stick with me here, it's easy to see:
Because the GOP made such an issue of the Grover Norquist Pledge (no new taxes on the rich), and couldn't come to agreement in the Supercommittee, an automatic defense-spending cut will take effect. They can't allow that to happen, because A) it would bother war-hawkish Tea Party voters, and B) they need that soft money from the defense contractors to get re-elected.
On the other hand, a full 80% of people say "don't touch my Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid," and a lot of those people VOTE.
All the Dems have to do is shine a light on the right's desire to cut their programs (including Meals On Wheels, feeding shut-ins), and pretty much everyone benefitting from those programs (and their immediate families) will vote Dem. It's called "voting with your belly," and it's one of the most effective ways to get folks to vote.
Just one more RNC miscalculation, like attacking women's issues, and the GOP 3-Ring Debates & Sideshows.

According to the U.S. Constitution, the President of the United States is Commander-In-Chief of our military.

Songsmith, I have a question....if its so easy putting people in their place and your superiority is absolute.....why do you keep bringing up the ignore button??
That button seems like a cop-out dont you think? Its just a "I can stand the heat" button isnt it?
Im just wondering dude, you say how much you love ripping on people and arguing....then why always talk about the ignore button?? Its a contradiction. Im not gonna use the ignore button. Its just a cop-out. I like reading what everyone says. I stay out of your political name calling fests, but ive just been wondering why ive seen you post so much about it in these posts.
Its just a question, no need to start calling names and attacking me.

how can the debates survive when everyone has eachother ignored?!

He wants the ignore button because just like most (I won't say all) of the liberals, he doesn't want to hear apposing views. He hates hearing any negativity towards his dream President; and only wants to see and hear positive things about him. He believes in free speech alright, only if that speech is coming from the left.

As for making these hidden, I think what they should do is make a political forum and hide it from the public forum. Make it where only subscribers can see it. Then, I'm not to sure you can do that with PHPbb. I know you can with VBulletin, as I have done it.

Falling .10 cents isn't a drop. It is a normal fluctuation. Gas is still double what it was when Obama took office. Whose fault is that? Let's put it this way; If Bush was still President, whose fault would it be?
Gasoline will never again be $1.79. It was $1.86 when Bush took office (then went to $4.39 locally, but who's watching).
Hmmm if GWB was still in office... Texas oilman... VP was CEO of oil-drilling company Halliburton... Hmmm. Hard to say.

Pardon me, you seem to have forgotten that I just proved Big Bad O is NOT to blame for gasoline prices, and that you were/are laughably wrong. Dude, it was an hour ago. Be careful, Wolfie's going to accuse you of Alzhemier's.

Because people will then have the option to make the nuts simply go away. So much less time will be wasted on Birther posts, blog/opinion posts as fact, Obama derangement, etc., that perhaps sane, educated people who don't hang on the rightwing-media's teat will be able to discuss something without this.
BTW, I don't attack, until I have been attacked. I don't make political threads, I respond to them. I am not an activist, I am a reactionary. I am not superior, I am, at the very least, effective.
The ignore button means I have the assurance that other readers will not think Rockpage is The Braintrust. They can click a button, and have a discussion without reposted memes of Obama in a Muslim headwrap.

My point was that when prices rise you blame Bush, and when they drop you praise Obama. It can't be one or the other. The one lowering them has to be the one raising them as well. You can't be saying that Obama is making them drop, say that there is no way a President can affect the prices, and then turn around and say that it is Bush's fault that are rising. Do you see where that makes you a hypocrite?

And you just proved my point that you can't blame your man for anything. He can do no wrong, you will blame Bush, the tea party, Texas oilman, the VP, Oil Drilling companies, tin man, the cowardly lion, Toto the dog, Forest Gump, little green men from mars, and Mickey Mouse; but never Obama - I guess this is going to be the Blame and Shame campaign of 2012. Yawn!

Yes, and there is no reason for it to go above that. You will never see it that low again.

According to MY link, I established that the push-pull of gasoline between the chance of instability from Iran, the effects of a poor economy, and I will add the obvious influence of Wall St. Notice no mention of Obama. The Braintrust ran with that for months. SOMEBODY'S blaming Obama for high gas prices. As they fall, against the will of the Rockpage Braintrust and rightwingers everywhere, the angst they feel spills onto this page. The inability to spin mildly positive events into horribly negative "news" is going to frustrate the rightwingers to no end this summer.
Rightwing angst is what will lose their elections in November.
Enjoy.
the chance of instability from Iran (speculating on that chance)

is this:

the obvious influence of Wall St.

"Soros-Controlled Energy Council"

http://townhall.com/columnists/kenblack ... gy_council

"...just recently decided to form an interagency natural gas council run by Cecilia Munoz, a former community organizer with La Raza and White House bureaucrat with deep-ties to George Soros, the billionaire investor who made his fortune in currency trading throughout the world while bankrolling liberal political efforts. Munoz formerly lead the Open Society Institute and the Center for Community Change, two organizations which are directly connected to Soros, MoveOn.org, ACORN, and other fringe groups with a long record of opposing the development of America's oil and coal resources. "

What would a racist leader from La Raza know about energy policy?????

Why are banks that are "too big to fail" still over-trading derivatives?
I thought that President Obama fixed this with his new policies?
I thought that the democrats fixed this with Dodd-Frank?

If you guys haven't all figured it out, it's all a bunch of bullshit. Both sides. There are a few decent guys in government that actually want to serve the people, but most are there to serve themselves. Look at you guys arguing for days....sit back once and look at the big picture. Doesn't matter what you say or do on here, you aren't changing anything. You are just arguing for arguing sake. Just trying to look out for you guys.

I been trying to cut down my posts in this thread because of how boring it is. It is the same thing over and over and over again. The repetition is nothing but a snooze fest.
