THE POLITICAL ARENA!!! Political Gladiators Inside!!

Post by KeithReynolds »

There are so many threads on rockpage about politics. The majority of rockpage users arent interested in political arguments. The few that are are very much into going back and forth all day. So, instead of having 6 billion thread with people repeating the same shit, here is the POLITICAL ARENA.

If you respect Rockpage and your fellow forum members, youll keep all your political rants, attacks and arguments in the Arena. This should be the place that you can rant and rave about things all day without hearing anti-political things or having threads hijacked. This thread will be for nothing but politics. If you dont wanna debate politics, dont come into the ARENA.
Not only is this for keeping all the political stuff in one centralized place, but with it being one place, you can now have easy access to everything eachother said. Which is good for fueling the fire further as you know.
I personally dont like politics at all, but even those who do deserve their own place to fight and argue.
Lets respect rockpage and its members and keep all political battles in the Arena.

Political Gladiators... are you ready?!

Ill start it....
Obama sucks, The Bush's sucked, Clinton ruled. Anyone that glazes an intern in the white house has my vote.

I believe organized prostitution & marijuana should be legal.

I support the death penalty and public executions. I think many things should be punishable by death....and not after waiting 30 years!
Im talking right after the trial. Keeps the prison population down and lets people know you cant rape or murder someone without getting your head chopped off in public.

One of my oldest friends in a self-proclaimed Atheist and Socialist. Ive only seen him once in the past year. He lives in MD. Anyway, I know that "socialist" is bad term apparently. Im not really sure why. He's read many books on socialism and atheism. I know the two arent related, but they are both "extreme" views.
He is very much into politics and I didnt bitch at him for talking about political stuff. Mainly because it had been so long since I saw him, I didnt wanna argue over such stupid things. He asked me how I felt about certain topics and was amazed at my answers. He said alot of what I believe lines up with socialism. Ill be honest, I really have no clue about socialism or any kind of political system or party. I dont think things like that should be labeled. Some people wont vote for something thats really good because its not aligned with their "party". That, to me is stupid. I think the best political system and party would be a mixture of everything. Like a puzzle, with parts selected from each. Every party and system seem to have good parts, and if we took all those "GOOD FOR THE PEOPLE" parts and made one, it would be the best choice.
Clearly the system thats been in place forever sucks. Liberties get restricted and taken away. Stupid laws are passed that screw people. Politics has become a business. When the basis of your entire society has become a business that sells to the highest bidder, its time to change!!!!!!
The only presidents that were EVER good were the first few who really were about the PEOPLE.
Our politicians are just business men. Their ONLY focus is to get re-elected. If they really listened to the PEOPLE...things would be drastically different. The people have a responsibility though, to vote with what the REALLY believe and not just what political party SAYS they should believe.
All of those are reasons I cant stand politics. The entire system is screwed. Its a losing battle for the PEOPLE and a victory for BIG GOV'T & BIG BUSINESS.

This is cool now we need a sticky for "MetaL" and then one for "Bluegrass" cause the one thing that pisses me off about this page is the fucking diversity! If I want something different then the same thing I have seen every other day I would step the fuck out my door and experience the weird shit outside! But I don't!

I would also like to see a "Stupid Fuck" area that I would feel comfortable in also please sign me up for the "You stroke me and I'll stroke you" group!

Don'T forget the "fuck the Steelers" group cause football ain't rock and roll to me. Also we will just need an "F Sciarillo" area cause who the hell knows what this guy is going to say next!

This is awesome!

I would post there regularly.

My point for this thread was to have an ONE area where the people can argue over their politics and call eachother all sorts of names like they do.
That way, when someone visits rockpage, it isnt political arguments in every thread with people calling eachother pussies or fuck faces or ass lips or uninformed man snake wranglers or Old Glory Holers or whatever else is said.
We can atleast keep all that in one place so it doesnt infect rockpage anymore.

Thats all im saying. I wasnt trying to give them their own place to hold them above everyone else. Just a centralized place to argue their points without ruining every thread on the forum arguing about bush and obama. Whats the harm in that? Nothing at all. If anything, it benefits everyone.

Frank

I am against gay marriage and I am against the government legislating laws against sin. Abortion is killing and most republican / conservatives are for the death penalty. When you hypocrites start demanding that mothers who abort be put to death then you will not be hypocrites.

When person 1 hires person 2 to kill person 3, person 1 gets punished the most.

Would you like to see mothers who abort be put to death, jailed for life or jailed for x years ?

I prefer no mother be sent to jail. But the GREAT sin they had done, will be punished by God. What needs to be done is for religious people to create a situation / civilization where people realize abortion is wrong and the norm becomes adoption.

Now, may I get a direct answer from you if I ask a question ? Feel free to ask me anything.

Now to the point at hand ..

Bill, I did support Bush during the war, I supported him his Presidency, I voted for him in 2000. I still like him, I miss him and would take him over Obama any day. He did have a deficit, it did get big, bit is nothing like what Obama and his congress did. Look at the statistics, this congress has amassed a deficit bigger than any other President combined.

Bush used his money to fund they war and protect this country. Obama used the money to fun people who helped him get elected. I feel the republican congress cared about the country and it safety, the congress we have now is for nothing but turning us into a socialist society and spreading the wealth of hard working Americans so people who refuse to work can live off them ...
Bushed ammassed over 5 trillion. Obama has not (yet) spent 5 trillion.

Bush used the monoy to fund the war NOT to defend the people. His war killed thousands of Americans and he went after ther wrong guy.

Bush used BILLIONS to pay off the people who got him elected in the form of tax cuts. Those tax cuts added a $trillion to the deficit. Please explain to me how your okay with that ?

Your regular rhetoric includes how much you hate supporting the lazy. I hate it too. Of the 10% unemployed, about how many do you think are lazy ?

I agree with you, now that foreign money is being used for $billions in attack adds for Republican candidates thanks to the recent supreme court ruling allowing corporations to spend as much as they want (even foreign corporations) on any candidate that gives them what they want.

That's why I haven't watched any political shows for months, because the money spent will decide most elections.

AND NO disclosure ? That sucks. We aren't even allowed to know who is buying the elections !

Frank, if I ask (a) question(s), will you give a direct answer ?

Until "we the sheeple" decide to stop sucking off the tit of the federal government and put them back to their constitutional duties as simply defender of our borders and referee for state conflicts, we are destined to decline into a murky pool of debt, taxes and idiot bureaucrats.

We already know who buys the elections, the last election was acorn, the unions, the banks, and the Chicago mob .. The liberals saying about foreign countries giving money to the Republican Party is calling the kettle black. They are the biggest group of launderers this side of purgatory ..

Bill, more copy and paste of the same thing you been asking for the past two days?
Please explain. Acorn had no money, the banks had no money, the chicago mob? and the unions money is miniscule compared to the money from these undisclosed accounts today.

Let me ask you this. If all of this undisclosed money was being spent on democrats would you care where it was coming from ?

Okay Frank, just give me your opinion. Yes it's been ask before. Of the 10% unemployed, how many do you think don't want to work ?

What is your opinion of the Republicans and the chamber of commerce beating back democrats who want to stop tax breaks for companies that outsource American jobs ?

Democrats want to stop tax breaks to companies that outsource. Why are Republicans protecting outsourcing companies ?

That's one source, there are many.

A low flat tax for all with a significant personal exemption solves the problem.

No more tax breaks of any kind for anybody, for anything, and you won't have abuses in the system (aside from blatant fraud).

The federal government is not intelligent enough to decide what should be subsidized and what should be hindered. Let the free market decide.
