I did some digging and nothing is outside of what she said. There is no proof of it. And to tell the truth, I wouldn't believe anything that comes out of that crack heads mouth. She is a major skank.

I made the reference to Clinton because you neglect to see that people on your side of the fence do the same thing. And my whole point is (which you'd rather avoid while picking apart less important things) that gas prices did not come down when oil production increased. As we were told it would since "drill baby drill". My point is that our oil is not our oil. It is the refineries oil. And they sell to a world market (refined products Jeff).

Had we not increased oil production, the oil supply would be much tighter than it is, resulting in even higher oil prices...if you subscribe to the law of supply and demand. I submit that gas prices would be climbing much higher, much faster without the increased oil production.

Of course, the complete and utter non-existance of a recovery from the recession is also helping to curb demand. Things would be much different if we had a recovery like in 1983-84 when we came out of the true worst recession since the great depression. Oil would be tight and we'd be paying $5+ at the pump.

Perhaps Obama's poor economic policies are designed to keep oil from going even higher than it is now? Who knows what that scheming bastard is up to?

You can't change the facts. Oil production is at it's highest in years. More than when Bush was president. The refineries, rather than lower OUR prices, sold the excess (in the form of refined OIL products) to foreign countries. So tell me Jeff, how much oil should the US produce to lower prices ?

I've explained many times. Supply and demand only plays a small part. Yes the world marked demand has increased greatly and that's a reason for higher prices. But selling a monopolized product for "whatever the market can bear" is a bigger reason for high prices.

First of all, the Bush tax cuts EXPIRED, but I'll even give you the extensions as if Bush signed them and not Obama. The Obama tax-cut extensions for the rich amount to about 6% and the war is about 5%. If you are talking about Medicare Part B, its OFF BUDGET...same as Social Security and the "payroll taxes". Contrary to what the lying sacks of shit in DC want you to believe, these plans are not a part of the general budget and therefore are not a part of the budget deficit. That does not mean that they aren't a problem in their own right.

Besides, saying that 10-15% of todays deficit was as a direct result of Bush is NOT the same as saying 85-90% is a direct result of Obama. My bad there...Obama spending increases are probably responsible for more like 50-60% of the deficit. He did, after all, increase government spending by 24% after his 1st year without raising revenue and is on track to add more debt in one term than all the previous debt accrued before him.

The rest would be attributable to programs implemented in the 20th century.
