Not sure if I'd call it a problem, but this is the first full year that the first wave of baby boomers hits retirement age. Many are retiring and that is having a significant effect on the total available work force (those charts I had up before I left). It will take fewer new jobs to lower the unemployment rate.

I haven't seen any stats, but it could mean several years of a flat or even negative growth in the available work force. This will translate into a lower unemployment rate, but at the same time, a smaller pool of skilled labor will be available.

This should have some interesting effects on demographics in the workplace:

In fact, during a span of six-hours Thursday night, 13 people were shot, leaving two dead in Chicago. It would seem it takes more courage to simply walk down the street in Rush's district than it does to wear a hooded sweatshirt in the House of Representatives by way of a stunt in a bizarre tribute to a young man shot and killed in Florida during a shooting incident still under investigation.

Perhaps if Bobby Rush and Nancy Pelosi ever got around to actually doing something to uplift the people in Rush's district, there would be fewer stories like the one above out of Chicago, and less need to don a piece of clothing in Congress in what amounts to an empty and silly gesture."

He is called the Kenyan because he was born there. He tried to produce a birth certificate to lie and say he was born in the US. Many forgery experts laughed at how poorly faked that attempt was. How is it racism to respond to the family of a dead kid? Did he say that he was going after Zimmerman the Latino? Did he say he was going after the white police force? Okay, maybe he said he was going to take down the white prosecutor? No? Then what did he say?
He said if he had a son, he would probably look like Trayvon, which from my estimation, is likely, they have similar facial features. He said he was saddened and sorry, but to race-baiters like Huey, that was the wong thing to say... Huey thinks he should have said, "Let that be a lesson to all you thugs out there! You buy candy and iced tea in the wrong place, you should be killed!"
This story, and the controversy it's created, has been a Godsend. It's drawn the REAL motivators behind extremist conservatism out into the open.
