I'm kinda moved on to making sure McGinnis gets embarrassed in his bid for Jerry Stern's job.
You are correct. I only heard it in passing on WRTA the other day, and couldn't believe my ears that McGinnis has the stones to run for office. Luckily, tape was rolling in 2009, and his words will come back to haunt him. The Tea Party craziness that spring and summer was ARCHIVED!

The local liberal party was protesting their decision to keep Rush Limbaugh on the air waves. WRTA realized that is was a bunch of liberal groups wanting them to take him off. Basically, they are upset because WRTA won't silence him like they want. They were also defacing the building. That seems to be the way it is with liberals.

Here are some pics of it: http://www.wrta.com/Blair-County-Democr ... u/12522143
Oh my, that "defacing" will cost thousands to repair. WRTA is insignificant in the Rush matter. America went over their heads, they're a small-market AM station, with an tiny average audience. The First Amendment is not a conservative document, free-speech also applies to people protesting, not just Fat-boy's right to call someone sluts and demand sex video's. The free market is speaking as well, through sponsors,... don't neo's always promote the free market as the all-powerful master of time, space, and dimension? How's that free market working out for ya, now?
You guys can whine all you want, Rush is actually HELPING get Obama re-elected, by alienating the voters who got Obama elected last time, women. I'm hoping for a return to the immigration issue, so he takes back the Latino vote (which was headed to the GOP), and when gasoline falls in price at summer's end (like it always does) Obama gets credit for that, too. What more could the right do to endanger their chances in November? We need a brokered convention to create a more circus-like atmosphere than we already have. Get a Palin involved, that's always good for a larf. Sponsor some more transvaginal legislation, people love that. Give us a tax-holiday for corporations, that'll bring the liberals out in droves. More SOPA/PIPA-type stuff, so a few media companies can control that, too.
Call yor rightwing congressmen, and tell them to keep up the good work, Obama's rooting for you.

And you can call your left wing congressman and make your monthly donation to him.

First amendment does include protesting, which I why didn't say they should stop them. It is the liberals who want to silence Rush Limbaugh. They are the ones trying to stop the freedom of speech to anyone who disagrees with them. You don't see the right protesting bill maher and trying to silence him do you? The left are the ones who cry, that is all they do. THey push but when the right pushes back, they call fowl and try to silence them. I don't want to silence anyone, but the left wants to silence everyone who doesn't agree with them.

Look at Obama's poll rating. It is 41% approval, that is a new low. Apparently others are starting to get sick of the liberal whining as well.

Here's the non-joe Dow Jones Indusrtial Average news for the day, since he'll avoid it:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/ ... story.html

http://www.csmonitor.com/Business/Lates ... t-2012-day

Here's what WSJ had to say, though they apparently decided not to report the close, possibly because it went higher than they'd like to admit:

--Stocks rise to multiyear highs after solid domestic economic data

--Sales at U.S. retailers grew at the fastest pace in five months in February

--DJIA, S&P in pursuit of fifth-straight session advance

--Europe markets rally, backed by better-than-expected German data

--Federal Reserve officials took no new action and offered few hints about future stimulous

CBO: Obamacare to cost $1.76 trillion over 10 yrs
byPhilip Klein Senior Editorial Writer
Share on email Share on print
Follow on Twitter:

President Obama's national health care law will cost $1.76 trillion over a decade, according to a new projection released today by the Congressional Budget Office, rather than the $940 billion forecast when it was signed into law.

Democrats employed many accounting tricks when they were pushing through the national health care legislation, the most egregious of which was to delay full implementation of the law until 2014, so it would appear cheaper under the CBO's standard ten-year budget window and, at least on paper, meet Obama's pledge that the legislation would cost "around $900 billion over 10 years." When the final CBO score came out before passage, critics noted that the true 10 year cost would be far higher than advertised once projections accounted for full implementation.

Today, the CBO released new projections from 2013 extending through 2022, and the results are as critics expected: the ten-year cost of the law's core provisions to expand health insurance coverage has now ballooned to $1.76 trillion."

" The number of unemployed persons, at 12.8 million, is essentially unchanged in February

The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks and over) was little changed at 5.4 million in February (and more than double the 2.6 million long-term unemployed in January 2009)

The number of persons employed part-time for economic reasons (sometimes referred to as involuntary part-time workers) was essentially unchanged at 8.1 million in February

In February, 2.6 million persons were marginally attached to the labor force, essentially unchanged from a year earlier (these individuals were not in the labor force, wanted and were available for work, and had looked for a job sometime in the prior 12 months)

Among the marginally attached, there were 1.0 million discouraged workers in February, about the same as a year earlier [Emphases added]

A brutally honest look at economic reality by Bloomberg’s Business Report concluded that the number of non-working Americans — working-age citizens who don’t have a job and aren’t looking for one — is an astonishing 88 million: “While the jobless rate fell to 8.3 percent…it doesn’t account for this army of nonworking Americans.”

the middle class conservs are still buying into the American dream that they too can be rich..if only they work hard and smart. the playing field is level, "i don't need no help from nobody least from the gubnit!"

they live in a dream world, and are foolishly idealistic.

THE RICH/WEALTHY ARE BIGGEST BENEFACTORS OF GUBNIT HANDOUT/TAX BREAK/CORPORATE WELFARE (ever hear that term?) idiots.

or maybe they got fat pensions they want to preserve?
you are not rich now, and you will not be rich in your near future.

sorry to break the bad news. i'm right there with you!

your rich repub "friends" will not save you. they care not about anyone but PRESERVING their wealth at any cost (or almost any).

The playing field is NOT level, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the middl;e class is disappearing.

congrats, all limbaugh fans. you drunk the koolaid deep and long :(

why anyone on the BOTTOM of the social economic scale would rail against a bit of "help" (ie socialeconomic field leveling) is beyond me. You like being LAST, and you want to stay last?
only have 1 life aholes, and time is running out.

hey dumazzes, do the wealthy rail against their tax breaks, loopholes and handouts loke YOU do against your brethern? your not too far from the poor and the homeless i suspect

drink long & deep, limbaugh & co. got you right where they want you
