Sara Palin's daughter wasn't running for public office when Letterman said that stuff about her. They were constantly attacking her family, and her. Bill Maher did it, David Letterman did it, most of the liberal media was doing it. Maher and Letterman were the nastiest.
Funny you mention Bristol Palin. She "wrote" her memoir at age 20, then got plastic surgery. She was on Dancing With The Stars. Do you think she shuns the spotlight? Of course not.
AND:
Bristol Palin was an unwed mother at 17. Maybe she could have USED some of that birth control that Rush Limbaugh and the other middle-aged white guys want to control.

I call you a liberal because everything you say, on here, points to it. I have not heard, or seen, you do one thing that points to me thinking that you are an independent.
You are a good guy, Johnny, but your politics views confuse me lol.

Does this mean that if there's a Fox News, there HAS to be an MSNBC?
Does it mean if there's a Rupert Murdoch, there HAS to be a George Soros?
Does this mean that if there's a Tea Party, there also has to be an Occupy Wall Street?
If the answer to any of those questions is 'no,' then you're the one dealing a double-standard, because I've said all those things repeatedly.
I can't think of anything I've ever said that would necessarily make me a liberal, and the only thing that really makes you think that is that I don't toe the talkshow-conservative line AT ALL. If I was a conservative, I'd be embarrassed at what the conservative culture has become. I'm only as liberal as the most devout neoconservatives force me to be, to counteract them. Lately, that forces me to lean to the left, because I can plainly see the circus that is the right. Rush Limbaugh is a deejay. He's not worthy of the status bestowed upon him. He's an obvious bad person, and a well-paid media figure who throws a lot of stones. You had to know he was going to cross the wrong group someday, and women just got tired of him portraying them as bimbo's and militant lesbians. He gets what he deserves, because he's already gotten far more pay and power than he deserves.
