Contrast that with the growth in the labor force. Notice how this growth dropped off since the 2009 employment lows because many people have given up looking for work. There's almost no evidence on the chart of the economic crash, or of losing 700,000 jobs per month, which is the reality. The large chart appears to show a loss of 2 million jobs or less, and no drastic changes... just a mellow decline. It also creates the illusion that there was no effect from the burst internet bubble, that Bush created millions of jobs during the subsequent downturn. Fantasy.
I feel I need to re-establish the difference between bona-fide news sources, and blogs: Blogs are opinion-based, and are not fact-checked or vetted in any way. You can blog about any subject at will, without fear of contradiction, because free speech does not have to be factual. Hard news sources are published by more than one wing-nut in his pajamas, and when they are false, people suffer consequences, so they're checked for authenticity.
