No way! Bottled water is extremely expensive even at half price. I LMAO every time I see somebody with a store bought bottle of water cuz they just got incredibly ripped off.Hawk wrote:I'm bottling rain water and selling it in 16 ounce bottles. Half the price of store bought water. Any takers ?
Bottled water falls under FDA inspection guidelines and the requirements are pretty flimsy...btw, you would have to have your bottled rain water inspected by the FDA. Don't worry, they don't require much, so you won't have to worry much.
Local tap water is subject to much more stringent state EPA regulation and inspection and is screened to be safer than expensive bottled water you find at a store. Hollidaysburg water happens to be very tasty and i always keep a pitcher in the refrigerator. I was drinking a glass when I saw this post.
If you check into it, you will find that most bottled water is just processed tap water...ROFLMAO.
Of course, not to be outdone, the federal government also requires a separate redundant test on local water systems that requires a 2nd set of paperwork. Nothing like more wasted dollars pissed away with redundancy.
Once again, a big government guy inadvertantly makes my point for me.
