I've been gone for months. I realized that dealing with Teapartiers is kinda like trying to convince a metally-challenged guy that he's mentally-challenged. If he understood what "mentally-challenged" was, he wouldn't be mentally-challenged.
Actually, the "Rockpage Braintrust" isn't kinda like like that, it IS that.
I'm also far less frustrated with it, knowing that the Tea Party's approval rating went from a high of a whopping 26% to a new low of just 18%. Nobody agrees with them, except them. Even Big Bad O has double that number.
I've been lurking, watching the view count in this thread... it roughly corresponds with the posts made... the only people following it are the people posting: the aforementioned Braintrust. Keep it, and keep Rockpage. Ron and JP are friends, and Rockpage used to do great things, but truthfully, a decade on one site is long enough. I'll still be watching the want-ads and PM-ing with the "normals," but I'm not going to try and break up the Bush-voter Circle-jerk any longer. Have at it, boys.
Braintrust? Mentally-Challenged? Good job there. Degrade everyone and try to make yourself look smarter, Kudos. don't answer the question just flame more hate. If you want to believe everything you hear from the white house and everything you see on your liberal tv shows, or hear on liberal radio shows, then that is your choice. We all know where your loyalties lie.

Bush may have had a hand in some of it, but he isn't to blame for all the starting. You have to remember that there was a Dem ran senate and house the last two years of his Presidency. So you can't put the blame solely on him.
Over 5400 posts, yet you have absolutely nothing worthwhile to say. Fuckin post whore.

Haven't been missed asswipe.
I missed you songsmith, I like conservatives as much as you do.
I think retards should be illegalized. I don't mean actual retards, but people with fully functional brains without a clue on how it's used. But, then again, I suppose life wouldn't be near as entertaining.
Ok, Jon, quit being a fucktard.
I would, but evidently this is just the place to be one.

Good....and I bet it will keep going down. The American people are waking up to his bullshit. He's on this "listening tour" at the tax payers expense, then he's going on vacation again. I'd say that's a big slap in the face to the unemployed Americans that are struggling in this country right now. I'd imagine he wants to get as many free vacations in before he loses next year.

Even the people who voted for him are starting to say well, maybe he will just be a one term-er. Even the die hards, except for the RP Bamy worshipers, are admitting the economy sucks, and O ain't helping. Its now three years of his administration, and blaming Bush for everything is starting to sound real whinny. The attempt to blame the Tea Party was kinda cute and pathetic at the same time.
I think the next Presidential Candidate should impose a law that requires all welfare recipients to be drug tested. This individual should also impose a 1% or 2% flat tax for everyone with no exceptions, including businesses. No more tax deductions. Everyone pays it.

Um...a 1% flat tax wouldn't even pay the interest on the debt.
I have been for the flat tax for more than a decade and the numbers I hear from people are between 15-25%, depending on an exemption.
I'd like to see everybody get an exemption for the 1st $15-25,000 or so of income to make it tiered. Eliminate Earned Income Credit.

That might be good there also, Jeff. As long as everyone pays, I am fine with it.

Pretty close to Steve Forbes' flat tax plan a couple of years ago. I think he wanted 16% and the first $36,000.00 was exempt. I don't know if he did anything about the EEIC.
You wanna see the economy pick up a bit, lower the gas prices...that would def. help.
Yes, lower gas prices would pick up the economy. But there is no way she can guarantee the prices to be a set price. Doing what she wants to do will lower the prices, but there is no way to say how low or where they will be.
