Thanks. :D I'm a huge Trigun fan, and Vash is my favorite fictional hero of all time.
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.

The media circus tends to do these kinds of things. The only thing that bothers me is how this case was thrown in our faces. I myself feel that she probably did do it, but the fact remains... No evidence, no proof? No conviction, no criminal. The only reason we have so many raw feelings about it, feeling like she is is because the media threw this in our faces. We probably wouldn't even know about it had the media not done such a thing. We live in a country where 3000 cases like this happen a year, but we may see one or two, simply because the media jumps all over them

What's that much worse is that we're looking at a girl who was killed, and we don't know (for absolutely certain) who did it. And if they find it wasn't the mother, then who is the media going to drag around next? If it was, we can't do anything about her now. And sadly, I have to agree with most of you... The prosecution had nothing on that case, while the defense lawyer made huge statements that pounded away what little case they had. I didn't see much, but I've heard enough to know that much (which means, accordingly, I know nothing I suppose, as I didn't see/hear much of it myself)

And as for Chili's, that's big enough for a boycott for me. I'd be the first person to get a lawyer if I was in that jury and was refused service based solely on that fact! It isn't their fault that the prosecution sucked

How do you get from "no evidence...no proof" to "the prosecution sucks"?

just curious

Been following this case since Caylee was first reported as "missing" three years ago. The prosecution did NOT suck. If you had watched the entire trial, though at times it seemed to drone on and on, they came up with some really good points and evidence. It's pretty funny how all of Casey's friends, people who THOUGHT that they knew her best, have now turned against her, but twelve complete strangers still thought she was innocent! Go figure!

the jury didn't find her INNOCENT they couldn't find her guilty!

this is what frightens me about the "jury of your peers" system..what if your peers" can't reason the difference?
