Can any shredder worth their weight in salt play just as well any other top ten shredder's rifffs?

Another Q for all rockpage great guitarists, what do you find particularly difficult to play, and why?

Surprised that no one mentioned Robin Trower! Maybe not always considered the BEST in the world, but go see him in person some time and you'd be amazed!!!

gilby clark?
Guns-N-Roses reference. Blatant and incontrovertible proof that nosurrender has indeed returned. Good call, FutureBobby.

How could you tell it is No Surrender? Besides the GnR reference.

Theoretical question for all rockpgae great gat players:Has there ever been born a guitar player so great that he can create a riff SO ALMIGHTY that even he himself cannot play?

Me! But I'm also highly delusional.

First, are we talking living or dead?

Category 1: Living and/or dead

1. Danny Gatton

2. Steve Lukather

3. Eric Clapton

Category 2: Among the living (still above ground).

1. Steve Lukather

2. Eric Clapton

3. Bodan Costea - Magica

So, I'll chime in on this one, too...

1. Jerry Garcia - Check out "Bertha" through the years 1971 1974 1977 1979 1981 1985 1995

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzVCAPB9uX8

2. Felix Coz - I feel fortunate to have a musician this close to home to watch live year after year with so much talent. A true musicians friend and a hell of a good dude!

3. & 4. - Slash and Dimebag (tie) - Truly rebellious in their day and it came through in their playing. I like that.

5. David Gilmore - Could do more with one note than anyone.
Keep on keepin' on,
Dan

Hey, I actually have a guitar pick from Dimebag.
Any votes for Carlos Santana?
Guess it depends on what style you enjoy listening to!
