5 pages on to the Super Bowl.

"Pounding the world like a battering ram
Forging the furnace for the final grand slam
Chopping away at the source soon the course will be done
Leaving a trail of destruction that's second to none
Hammering anvils straining muscle and might
Shattering blows crashing browbeating fright
Fast devastating and desolisating the curse
Blasting the cannons of truth through each man of this earth
Wielding the axe comes the one culmination
That's always seemed certain to bring down the curtain on greed
Sifting the good from the bad it's the age for the rage
Of the dogs which must fall to the just and be free
Now grate for the vandals who trampled and sampled
Till this place conditioned brought forth demolition to war
The slipping and sliding corrosive subsiding
That withered and wained till the world seemed all drained fills the bay
Pounding the world like a battering ram
Forging the furnace for the final grand slam
Chopping away at the source soon the course will be done
Leaving a trail of destruction that's second to none
Second to none"

In the words of Randy Cross, "The Bills have lost to the Steelers JV team" The first team ever in the AFC to go 15-1. 3 more left.

The Eagles might have a tough time getting to Jacksonville without Owens.

While the Steeler scrub squad was handling the Bills, the pesky AFC North rival Bengals plucked, stuffed, and hung the Eagles out to dry. At least they also get a bye, home field, and will have some lesser NFC talent to contend with.

It would be so sweet if it was the Filthydelphia Begals and Pittsburgh Steelers in the Superbowl.

Even without T.O. the Eagles should get to the Super Bowl. Should, not will. Somewhere along the line (perhaps NFC Champ. again) they will most likely freeze. Atlanta, with their number one rushing attack, is the most likely choice to beat them being as how they can't stop the run.

Anyone have any predictions to who, the Steelers of course, will be playing in the Bowl?

It's hard to say the whole NFC is up for grabs. All the teams suck and they can't seem to get more than a few wins together. The Eagles may do it but without T.O. I doubt it.

I think if it's the Pennsylvania Bowl, then they should play the game in some cornfield in wayne county...then that would be the real test to see whos the best in PA...

It has already been suggested by Rendell that if it is a Turnpike Bowl to have it in Pa, probably philly knowing him, but Jacksonville will never let that happen.

I think they should have it at Mansion Park lol .

Either if it is Philly and Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh will win. :D

I believe that the real Super Bowl will be played on January 23rd in Pittsburgh. Lack of passing defense will eliminate all but Pats and Steelers. Steelers 27, Pats 23.

Despite no Owens, Philadelphia's defense will stave off all comers.

Philadelphia 31, Atlanta 27

The Eagles will wish they had a bye for the Super Bowl.

Steelers 31, Eagles 10

Looks like the Steelers will be playing the Jets and New England will be playing The Colts next week. It should be a easy win for the Steelers :D

That score in teh Colts and Broncos game was pittiful. 34-3 before halftime .. 49-24 Final. Makes you wonder how Denver even made it to the playoffs ..

Subject: Shipwrecked ED

Ed finally decides to take a vacation. He books himself on a Caribbean cruise and proceeds to have the time of his life -until the boat sank.

He found himself swept up on the shore of an island with no other people, no supplies... Nothing. Only bananas and coconuts.

After about four months, he is lying on the beach one day when the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen rows up to him. In disbelief, he asks her, "Where did you come from? How did you get here?"

"I rowed over from the other side of the island," she says. "I landed here when my cruise ship sank."

"Amazing," he says. "You were really lucky to have a rowboat wash up with you."

"Oh, this?" replies the woman. "I made the rowboat out of raw material found on the island. I whittled the oars from gum tree branches; I wove the bottom from palm branches; and the sides and stern came from a Eucalyptus tree."

"But ... but ... that's impossible," stutters Ed. "You had no tools or hardware. How did you manage?"

"Oh, no problem," replies the woman. "On the South side of the island, there is a very unusual strata of alluvial rock exposed. I found if I fired it to a certain temperature in my kiln, it melted into forgeable ductile iron. I used that for tools and used the tools to make the hardware." Ed is stunned.

"Let's row over to my place," she says.

After a few minutes of rowing, she docks the boat at a small wharf. As Ed looks onto shore, he nearly falls out of the boat. Before him is a stone walk leading to an exquisite bungalow painted in blue and white. While the woman ties up the rowboat with an expertly woven hemp rope, he can only stare ahead, dumbstruck.

As they walk into the house, she says casually, "It's not much, but I call it home. Sit down, please. Would you like to have a drink?"
"No, no thank you," he says, still dazed. "Can't take any more coconut juice."
"It's not coconut juice," the woman replies. "I built a still. How
about a Pina Colada?"

Trying to hide his continued amazement, he accepts, and they sit down on her hand-woven couch to talk. After they have exchanged their stories, the woman announces, "I'm going to slip into something more comfortable. Would you like to take a shower and shave? There is a razor upstairs in the cabinet in the bathroom."

No longer questioning anything, Ed goes into the bathroom. There, in the cabinet, is a razor made from a bone handle. Two shells honed to a hollow-ground edge are fastened on to its end inside of a swivel mechanism. "WOW! This woman is amazing," he muses, "what next?"

When he returns, she greets him wearing 'nothing but vines' strategically positioned, and smelling faintly of gardenias. She beckons for him to sit down next to her.

"Tell me," she begins suggestively, slithering closer to him, "We've been out here for a really long time. I know you've been lonely. There's something I'm sure you really feel like doing right now, something you've been longing for all these months. You know..."

She stares into his eyes. He can't believe what he's hearing!

"You mean ...", he swallows excitedly,

"We can watch the STEELER game from here?"
"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

::gigglefits:: typical male. when the wommings want sweet lovvings, they want to watch the game, but you can give them head if you want. heh.

question: why is it that i get picked on for owning an eagles jersey (i did not buy it, i won it in a bet.... it's teal!)...it's #22...and teal.... and i think it's a deuce jersey from back in the day. why is it not okay to be an eagles fan but it is okay to have a steelers name on the back of an ex-team's jersey?
and, i honestly don't know much about the eagles/eagles-clothing, other than they are a pa team, those are the greatest two colors possible together (well..aside from the gold and black) and...well... they are easy to win off people if you're female.

It's simple about that Esa in my mind. In this area, you are either a Steelers fan or not. Anything else to Steelers fans is heresy. And it only escalates in the play-offs. I actually saw a dude driving a van with a sticker of both teams on it and asked him what was wrong with him. He said he gets that alot.

Never owned a Steelers Jersey. Always wanted one though. Maybe some day. Until then, I'll keep the Eagles #22 Deuce jersey....
