I'm still loyal
THat's a true fan. I stuck by my Steelers through some sucky seasons , too. At least you're not a band-wagoner....( band-wagoner....is that a word? )
Jeff
Hell YES!! Steelers looked awesome!! I thought last year was going to be our year after we FINALLY parted ways with the ol' Kordell and Maddox was looking promising, but man, what a flop of a season!!!! I think we deserve a good year, I've been biting my fingernails since 95'. Im still pissed at O'donnell.

Shhh...don't let anyone know this, but I skipped my hockey game so I wouldn't miss the game! Man - I'm glad I stayed home to watch the f-ball game. Not only did they beat the Patriots, they down right made the 21 game winnig streak look like a fluke! The Pats were handed their asses!

I too hate Neil O'Donnell (who is privately one of Jerry Jones' blowjob kings). You know after he did that, he just packed up and left Pittsburgh in the middle of the night and never talked to any of his teammates again? Seriously, what an ass...stonekrow wrote:Hell YES!! You know, the Steelers never really get any respect from any of the National Sportscasters, especially on the NFL channel.
So I tuned in late last night to the NFL channel, and on their "Point After, Sounds of the Game" segment, the first thing they talked about was the Steelers - Pats game. But not with any enthusiasm. I mean COME ON, this was the biggest event in the last year!! And they just sorta said, oh yeah here was the game, and the Steelers won.
I love the Steelers, and I love being the under-respected team, and I just LOVED the fact that we beat the PATsy's handily.
This could very well be the year that we go ALL THE WAY!!
P.S. Tomorrow, vote Benjamin Franklin for President!! I think he could do a better job from his grave than any of the existing choices.

I was going to vote for a Benjamin, but not Franklin....Roethlisberger!!!
I'll put in my weekly 10 votes for rookie of the week at NFL.com
My family was invited to my Philly cousin's surprise 40th b-day party. The invitation read "Eagles attire appropriate". Uh-huh. Can't wait til this Sunday, because this might be a SuperBowl preview. I'm planning on proudly wearing black & gold to Philly in 2 weeks.

Hey, I thought this site was for music related discussions!!! (just kidding)
I thought the boys looked great on Sunday. They pounded the pats and kept the pressure up to the point that the pats basically beat themselves with turnovers - then we capitalized on those mistakes. It was brilliant!!
Anyway, someone told me today that on ESPN there was talk of the Steelers being the best team in the NFL - now that scares me. Let's not ruin this already folks. Don't jinx it for us!! There is so much that could happen between now and the end of the season!!! I'm staying optimistic though!!

Denver Rules
Ok I give the steelers credit. They did great job. But, I will not cheer for them until they get rid of that fat fuck Bettis. He is no good. He cant run for more then 10yards with out going to the bench and getting oxygen. Hell I could do just as good as he does. I know someone will say so why dont you go and do it. I just might next year. We shall see but DENVER RULES!!!!!!

Oh and there is no arguing the fact that O'Donnell did throw that game. He suxed anyhow ... I'm glad he is gone, him and Stewart were the worst quarterbacks they ever had .. Heck Stewart even made Mark Malone look like Terry Brandshaw lol ..

OK folks, this is how you spell it:
R-O-E-T-H-L-I-S-B-E-R-G-E-R
The name was mysteriously missing from many of these posts and I assume that it's because of all the required typing. This rookie sensation has transformed this team from mediocrity to the attitude that that they can beat anybody, anytime, anywhere.
