Yeah, good call on Farrior. He's playing at a level this season that is unreal. It seems like he's in on almost every play. He definitely should be Defensive MVP and a pro bowl candidate.

concerns

Post by Imgrimm01 »

I have a few concerns but I'm optomistic.. Pats worry me in the playoffs BUT my hope is that the colts take care of them for us.. Ahh yes the Colts the only way I believe we can beat the Colts is to be in Manning's face all day HARD never let him rest and leave him NO time in the pocket because if you give Manning time he WILL BURN you hard !! My 2 cents..
I'm glad I didn't have to fight in a war, I'm glad I didn't get killed or kill somebody, I hope my kids enjoy the same lack of manhood

The Colts can definitely be scary with all that offensive talent but their D can't stop anyone really.Until Dungy shores up that D they won't make it to the dance. But I have no worries because they are the second coming of the Rams of a few years ago they can play inside not out especially if it's snowing or raining.I hope we don't have to play the Pats because that just causes acid reflux because my wife is a die hard Pats fan and I don't wanna have to get in her face about us kicking their asses again. But you have to watch the Bolts from SD,Marty has them believing they can beat anybody. But no fear the Steel will take them all out.Because if you think about it this was supposed to be a tough schedule this year but we beat the odds and put everybody so far in their places.I can't wait until the Ravens game for a little payback.

The Colts can't stop the run. Run it like we did on the Pats and that high powered offense can't get on the field. That's how we beat their ass on Monday night a year or two back.

It's gonna be really hard to beat the Pats two times in one year...That has me really worried....but, either way, it'll be a helluva ride

Yeah The Pats and the colts scare me. Brady on the other hand has some tricks up his sleeves and knows when to use them. We will have to see what happens, I know we will beat them though ...

I just want them to beat the Giants this week, then move on to the next week ..

That game today was a farse. They should have lost, I think that was the worst playing they did all season. How they won is a miracle. I just hope they do better against the Ravens next week ...

The highlight was Bettis. He got his 13th touchdown of the season, his fifth straight game over 100 yards - rushing for 140 today, and he got over ten thousand yards in a steelers uniform. He is the man - Lets here how he is washed up now ..

I agree - they should have lost today. Hell, Ben should have been picked off a couple more times but they are just VERY lucky sometimes. I love the season they are having and I love the wins and I really hope they can make it all the way, but..... a part of me is almost hoping that they lose a game soon (like, before the playoffs).

I am just afraid that they are going to start thinking that they are invinceable or something and get smoked in a playoff game.

I would rather see them lose to a shitty team now and get a dose of reality than see them get beaten in a playoff game.

I was happy to see Ben throw for some 310+ yards. The Steelers IMO suffered that letdown that always happens the week between two big games. They were amped to play the Jets and perhaps looking forward to the Ravens.

But, that being said, if they don't play better next week they'll lose by 14...but I doubt that will happen...

That pathetic performance by the D cost me the semi final round game of my fantasy league playoffs. It seemed like a safe bet, the number one D vs. the league's shakiest young QB.

Oh well, I can still go for third and more importantly the Steelers still won.

Talk about a letdown. Go Dolphins. Pats still have the Jets too.

It looks like the way to Jacksonville is thru Pittsburgh, but then there are the Ravens...

I can not believe Miami beat the Pats, that is hilarious. They now have an impressive stat of 3-11. This is in our advantage now. We are the only team in the afc with one loss. When we beat Baltimore this weekend we will have home field advantage. That will take us straight to the superbowl .. WOOT !!

GO STEELERS !! :D

The road to the Super Bowl now goes through Pittsburgh. Home field through the playoffs!

With Big Ben suffering some bruised ribs, they'll probably sit him next week vs. Buffalo and let Maddox start. They might even sit a few of the bruised starters to rest them up for the postseason. If Buffalo is still in the playoff hunt, I could see them winning next week. But the Steelers should then be well rested for whoever comes their way during the playoffs.

That game was great. Home Field is awesome. They matched the record for most games won in a season, next week they will beat that. Maddox at the end did pretty good. It was a good day for Manning as well, he beat the record for most touchdowns in a season. Congrats go out to him.

We are going to the SUPERBOWL !! GO STEELERS !!

Sad news about Reggie White, there weren't too many like him.

But good news on the Steelers manhandling the Ravens. The Bus even put the smack down on OverRayted Lewis....lol.

The Steelers played really well.

The Steelers rock my socks off!

I won't be surprised if Buffalo takes the game next week.
Then again, you never know.

Either way, we're going to the Super Bowl this year!!!!!!
