Are you trying to make some sort of a point by posting these "thoughts"?

Public hangings!!

Post by tornandfrayed »

I think that public hangings would be cool! That might deter the crime rate!

I "thought" you might enjoy them as much as I do, something a little different from the usual babble.

Hangings?

Post by tornandfrayed »

You bet public hangings and crucifictions are definately a little different then the usual babble! I bet that one televised public hanging at say, hafltime at the superbowl would not cause nearly the same amount of criticism that Janets little nipple did.

What does that say about us that expressions of violence are accepted even commonplace but expressions of sexuality are taboo...

On our first Cd I killed two people (in lyrics) and nobody said nuthin about lyric content but on our second Cd I used the word "Pussy" and it was a whole big controversial thing.

Make a movie where people cut each others heads off with swords and maybee you get a PG-13, make a move where people do it and you get an X rating.

What does it say about our society, what does it say about Christianity, it's the religious right that gets all in a twist over sexual content in movies and TV but they don't have a lot to say about violence in media.

In Irag, people are being decapitiated and. . so what, but we're still talking about Janet's fucking nipple...what's up with that?

Doesn't organized religion preach that the destination is heaven? and you're supposed to suffer on earth to get there? I don't get the quote. Sounds like something someone made up to sound cool, and just hoped no one really thought about it...maybe Charles Manson or something said it.

I once took my sister to the Tipton XXX store to get PhotoGoddess's 25th?? birthday present (a blowup doll with a big 10") and while she was checking out, I saw VHS tapes of women with 4" nipples.
