Listened to it. Nothing ground breaking or great. Pretty mediocre and generic hard rock music. Overcome sounds like they were imitating Breaking Benjamin. Bread of shame was eh, nothing stood out, no real hooks just basic drop D rock guitars with monotone vocals. A thousand faces, is just "the same old creed bullshit." All in all its generic Rock that's just put random name behind the music and no one would ever know the difference.bassist4life2004 wrote:Before you completely disregard the album as "the same old creed bullshit" go to youtube and check out the songs Overcome, Bread of Shame, and A thousand faces. You never know what you might find.
So it was something i already new and i saved $20
Back to Pearl Jam and Creed i found this and made me laugh.

The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

Ah the beauty
Ah the beauty of art!
How would it be if an album came out and everyone thought it was the best album ever? That would be somewhat strange, wouldn't it?
I love the comments but it is ok for one person to like things that others don't, right?
I have a strange feeling that there are people on here that don't care much for Led Zeppelin or U2, that dislike does not really effect their popularity or their impact on society, right?
I think that it is cool that there are so many different opinions (assholes?) on rockpage, it gives you the feeling of diversity.
While I already stated at the beginning of the thread that I thought this was the best Creed album, I can still see the similarities listed in the thread and can easily understand that after having seen the video for "Higher" it is hard for some to take them seriously.
I though, having lived a life free of any type of mistake well give them the benefit of the doubt and just say that I am really enjoying the record. It is like shaving a cat, not for everyone but fun as hell!
The sarcasm in this post was included at no extra cost.

Im glad you gave it a chance anyway. Its cool of you to do that. Weather you hate it or love it doesn't matter, its listening before you judge that makes the difference.
