I'm sure it will sound just like all of their other stuff.
Some mediocre instrumentation with bellowing, pompous vocals, and lyrics that read like some 6th grader trying to be "deep" and "poetic".

if the cd is anything like the first single Overcome it should be an awesome CD. Its never been a secret that I like creed. I like them and Alter Bridge because the instruments are awesome, the musicians in the band are talented, and they write songs that have a positive message. Scott Stapp isn't on my list of favorite singers or favorite people, by any means, but he and tremonti are on my list of favorite lyricists. Ive heard a few different songs off of this cd and i will tell you that it is completely different than before, but it is a big show of how powerful studio magic is. Stapp has all but lost his voice and sounds like hell live, but sounds strong on the cd. I know i will take abuse for this but hey, opinions are like assholes, rockpage is full of them

Creed suffers from the same problem that Limp Bizkit did (or should I say does...I hear they're back on tour): They are full of talented musicians, but the douchey-ness of their frontmen - Stapp and Durst, respectively - drags them down.
I really liked the first two Creed albums, but they were starting to sound like a cliche of themselves on Weathered.

Creed is like the Huntingdon Fair or Grange Fair.... Everyone needs to experience it atleast once their life but thats enough.

My Own Prison and Human Clay were both decent. The rest just sound like they were dragged out of Stapp's ass, minus the instruments. He obviously had some part in the arrangements
This doesn't take much from the core musical parts, but you could tell their falling points... Tremonti is clearly a talented musician, as are all the other guys in Creed. Stapp, however, being Capt. Douchebag, wrings a solid sound out of them. It's amazing to me how someone with such strong vocals and writing capability can be such a dipshit. But then, I guess that's the same all across the board. Their early songs were raw, ripping, and certainly bled of ability and talent from all ends. Obviously however, the weak link has weakened the chain

If you go on youtube you can find pretty decent quality live performances of a few of the new songs, A thousand Faces, and the title track Full Circle.
It seems like they have went in a different direction thus far, but i know that no matter what the rest of the album sounds like, i will buy it. I've been a fan ever since 1997 and a lot of what the band did influenced me to do what i am doing. Stapp is an asshole, but i like the band as a whole and when it comes to listening to their music i look past the stupid bullshit he has done, and just listen to the music. I have never been one to follow the media or watch entertainment tonight, or E! and i always believed that ones personal life is just that, personal. So whoever he fights with is his own business, but there are some things that make him a royal asshole in the public spotlight.
Like them or not, they sell albums and sell out arenas.
