My wife & I have a dachshund who's paralyzed from the ribs back... when people find out, they always say, "Awwwww!" like they pity him. They needn't pity him. It doesn't slow him down at all, he truly doesn't care. He's not just the alpha dog, he's the all-being master of time, space, and dimension.
Dogs are the most adaptable animal on the planet. We didn't domesticate them, it's the other way 'round. Dogs descended from wolves... in the whole world, there are less than half a million wolves, but there are probably more dogs than that in PA alone. Makes you wonder. :) --->JMS
