Despite all of that seeming somewhat cold and callous, I still feel like this sort of thing shouldn't happen, and that there are no words to describe how horrible this can be. I've seen families go from bright harvests of humanity, shining hopes and dreams, and I've seen all of those shatter before us, leaving bits and pieces of memory faded away by bitter, cruel injustice. Mankind is senseless at times, and as we've only devised better ways to do greater injustices, some days, I have to wonder what the big plan here really is, and what we are evolving to
I understand why the various school shootings happen as I've been in that mentality of darkness before. I can at least find a level of humanity for the ones who commited those crimes not because of what they became, but because of what they had lost the fight to endure. At least they were actually driven to a bad point. Not that I condone their actions, but then I can accept why occurances became events. But this is repulsive. Most people know that next to no one is going to play Hero in an armed robbery attempt. Why turn simple needs into bloodsplatter
All of that said, my condolences to those who have lost someone not just in this tragedy, but in any true tragedy. I hope that your lives may be rebuilt, and that some level of justice and light shine on you. Words can't describe what I feel, though I hope my words and the words of everyone here can bring some sort of comfort
