1) I don't think you can get any Great Lakes Brewing Company in PA, but a short trip to O-Hi-O will be WELL worth it. If you're into hopppy - get some Nosferatu:

Personally, I absolutely love the Edmund Fitzgerald Porter:

and the Eliot Ness Amber Lager:

Absolutely Top Notch. I actually get them shipped to me in Alabama on occasion from a friend back home. Ridiculously expensive to do that, but I'm telling ya, it's worth it. They're that damn good.
Others:
Give a Rogue Chocolate Stout a try if you can find one. The best "niche beer" place in Huntsville is called "The Nook, and every time I am in there, I get one of those.
For a "weird" one, try the Leinenkugel Berry Weiss. Not usually into the fruity beers, either, but this one was terrific.

You better call me a doctor - feelin' no pain!
Sleeman's Dark. Not sure where you can find it in the U.S., though. I was
told Hickey's had it not so long ago, but never got to stop by to check. It's
a smaller brewery in Guelph, Ontario.
Troeg's Mad Elf.
Monster Ale Barleywine Ale
Penn Pilsner. Just always loved this stuff.

Easy man, I like guinness. Black And Tans (Guinness & Bass) FTW!Chuxema wrote: We use Arrogant Bastard to make car bombs.
Guinness is fucking lame!
Try Murphy's Irish Stout. It's better than both of those IMO.

Sanchez,
I found a new place in Pittsburgh that according to the owner carries between 350 and 400 different beers from around the world. I stopped there last night and I saw many of the beers that have been mentioned in this thread.
The name of the place is Pack's and Dogg's. It's an upscale hot dog shop that carries exotic beers. Its located up on Mt. Washington so here's an idea. Plan to take off the 23rd of April so that you and a bunch of beer lovin rock and rollers can come to Pittsburgh on Wednesday the 22nd late afternoon/early evening, hell, all day if you like. Park at Station Square, take the incline up to Mt. Washington, go the Packs and Dogg's and sample the different beers for a while. Take the incline back down to Station Square and go to the Hard Rock to cheer on Slacker Theory in the BoB at the Hard Rock.
What a way to spend an evening.
Or get a designated driver and just make an evening of it getting shit faced and feel like crap all day Thursday at work.....that's always fun!!!!
