I agree but if you think about it, brutal honesty would many times lead to personal bashing.

this isnt a high and mighty podium I am casting from. I am not a prude. I was asking if some ppl could exercise some judgement. some taste.

trust in me the fact when I tell u I am very unconservative. I write what I want to write, sing what I want to sing, play what I want to play.
I don't know. Sorry if I took it wrong, but I post the word fuck in a lot of threads. I say it a lot IRL. I say it onstage. I sing it in my songs. I turn down shows with family friendly atmospheres because of this. Some people think saying it once is excessive. It's just another word to me. I am very pro f-word. If everyone felt the same way as me there would be no forbidden words or racial slurs for that matter. I know that will never happen, but I don't have to conform. This is something that I will debate until my last breath.

I've said it before...I'll say it again...It's the mojo hat. It gets all the girls wet (and all of the dudes hard  ). Plus you can see the Naildriver sticker on the top side of my rack case.

Why do you think Greg Hatch, Bobby Watters, and Steve Arnold all kick so much ass on local stages? Because they all rock pimp ass mojo hats!

I try to use asterisks to blot out the letters, as some sort of self-censoring. I admit bad language does cast one in a certain light, and anyone at all on the planet could ostensibly be reading this right now. There are people who I'd rather not know the real me, I suppose.
Funny, though... the notion that you shouldn't use a certain word, but if you block out a few of the letters, that shows you made an effort to clean it up. It's still the same word, and the reader still knows exactly what word it is, AND what it means (or else they wouldn't be offended, in the first place). What's the difference? For that matter, words like Goshdarnit, shoot, va-jayjay and making whoopee are just other place-holder words for ones that are highly offensive. Isn't the idea the offensive thing, and how do you stop someone from offending you with an idea?
Not a slight to you, Killjingle, just things that make you go, Hmmmmm. --->JMS

you know, the whole "idea is what's offensive" is what i meant with my first post in this thread. i just suck at formulating sentences and such, but i think we both agree on this. now get the frig off the internet, and go lick a va-jayjay or i'll put my darn big boot in your backside.

Rob, I agree with you that it SHOULD be that way. But, some people can't make the distinction between Rockpage and real life.

As most of you know - Since the Brady post, I've become somewhat of a target for hate on RockPage. People attack me for things that others on this site do daily - but only I draw criticism. Whatever. I'm not complaining about the posts and multitude of PMs filled with hate and threats. It's a *fucking web forum. Or so I thought...

The difference here is most of us know each other and it's NOT anonymous. And... SOME PEOPLE GO TOO *FUCKING FAR AND LET THEIR HATE SPILL OVER INTO REAL LIFE...

Last week, I was publicly invited (rock page post) to go to a show and be a guest singer for a few songs as a tryout for a potential job fronting the band. I couldn't attend because I had plans, and sent the band a PM telling them so.

However, one *fucker from RockPage that gives me shit all the time for no reason (without naming names - do I even have to?), showed up at the show - expecting me to be there, no doubt to harass and heckle me... He actually commented on one of my posts to gloat that "he was there and I wasn't"...but it was since deleted by a moderator.

I'm one incident away from filing a restraining order against this severly *fucked up individual...

If things stay on rockpage, that's one thing...but they don't. And because they don't - and we all know each other - I agree with Killjingle:

CLEAN IT UP FUCKERS*! (lol)

How the fuck did I get drug into that? I'm 1400 miles away and could give a fuck less what Jake Williams does. Last I checked he was at my Castle Pub show last time I came home and I've talked to him or been around him a few times before that so don't bring my fucking name into posts like that please. Trying to start some weird shit or something?

I'm sorry if that post sounded mean towards you Jake. I was just mad to see it. Do I even know you SkeezerBoy? Why the fuck would you say something like that? Not cool at all dude. Jake and I have no problems with each other at all.

We're cool Redawg. I'd be mad if someone tried to pull me into some juvenile game like this too. Don't worry about it. It's not hard to see where your anger is directed.

This psycho just keeps trying to find someone else who "hates Jake Williams". Yea, SkeezerKid, I heard about your myspace status.

He's contacted my ex-wife, now he tries to get you involved in his games (not sure if he knows our connection or not)...

Seriously Skeezer, who you gonna try to get to join your "Jake Williams Haters" club next, my 5th grade bully? His name was Ray Jones. Good luck. Fucking Psycho...
