Can we try an lighten up on the f bombs and the spewing of hatred towards other members?
If someone is a punk or troll make it known. Thats cool. But its going too far.
I like to swear, drink beer, listen to death metal; jeez its startin to feel like a bar on here. But; its an internet forum.
I would be embarassed if my employees saw me reading half of the topics on here.
I was trying to get a friend to join the community here but he just told me that its too over the top for him. From the outside looking in its just like reading any other teenage local music forum.
We are better than that.

I read RP at work. I am the boss. I am an easy going guy, and I think I do right by my employees. At least I try to. Maybe I am the ass...
Im reading a forum today while waiting for our billing system to load and I have a young 21 yr old employee standing over my shoulder waiting to punch in reading FUCK; FUCK; FUCK.
I was pretty embarrassed to say the least. He thinks I am a rock and roll star (which is kinda neat) and he sees me cover up my tats and stuff; I mean just a little effort on this guys? He goes out to discuss what I am reading with other employees.
Shame on me I guess for reading at work; I drop fbombs too; hell maybe more... I just kinda wish it wasnt so overused.

Personally, I'm not as interested in Rockpage as I use to because it's become about 80% whining and 20% good content. That's why I've started to just respond to asinine posts with Rockpage Fail memes.
...and yes, I'm aware of the irony that by posting this, I am in fact whining.

That was funny, the first time I heard it. After that it was old hat and over indulged .RobTheDrummer wrote:What about George Carlin? Are you saying you don't like his brand of humor?![]()
I think people over use the word to sound cool. That's my fucking opinion....see, that sounded bad ass, didn't it?

i think cunt is far worse than fuck. i use fuck because it's so versatile. it can be used as a noun, adjective, or a verb. i mean... how many other words in the English language can be used like that?
just remember, there are only negative emotions attached to words, not negative words. humbug back in the 1800's would be like saying fuck today. why is it socially acceptable to say humbug and not fuck? read "a christmas carol" by charles dickens. let me know how that plays out. times change. words are only bad if you treat them that way.
what am i trying to say? quit being such a prude, i'll quit using it as much, and i guess everyone will be happy.
