Sometimes I feel that way to, but then I realize thats what I get for looking at an internet forum while I'm at work. I log onto at least 3 seperate music forums everyday and this is by far the mildest mannered.

Chad, in all seriousness, I see what you're saying but at the same time, I tend to look at Rockpage as somewhat of a pseudo-reality; a place to escape from some of the standards "the man" expects, you know, the whole covering your tats and stuff. Here, your tats can be proudly displayed, as can your potty mouth. Also, I think if Ron had a real problem with it, he'd activate the profanity filter on the forum so you wouldn't be able to type the word in the first place.

Personally, if I'm in a "f@#k" mood, I'll let one fly here or there. Guilty as charged. Sometimes, I'll use "eff" or "effing" or use symbols in place of letters.

This is a rock forum, tho and sometimes in the music/bar scene, profanity comes with the territory. Cool thing about this thread is, every time I go to type "fuck," from here on out, i'll think about it, if for only a split second, and chances are I'll censor myself more often than I do now. Then again, maybe I fucking won't, lol.

Just one member? You need to visit more, lol. Any topic is worth discussing IMO. People just need to keep in mind that not everyone will agree on any given viewpoint. That's what makes us human and it doesn't mean that a discussion is not valid, just means it has morphed into a debate.

As long as name-calling and outright "jackassiness" (© 2009 BadDazeRob, Inc.) stays out of the mix, it's all good.

I don't know. Sorry if I took it wrong, but I post the word fuck in a lot of threads. I say it a lot IRL. I say it onstage. I sing it in my songs. I turn down shows with family friendly atmospheres because of this. Some people think saying it once is excessive. It's just another word to me. I am very pro f-word. If everyone felt the same way as me there would be no forbidden words or racial slurs for that matter. I know that will never happen, but I don't have to conform. This is something that I will debate until my last breath.
