This VP pick just handed the White House to Obama/Biden.
U Mad, Republicans?
She can't even manage her daughter on how to not get pregnant twice before she turns 17... How can we expect her to be a good VP?Hawk wrote:I think she is 16? It's nothing. It happens every day.
It has nothing to do with the election at all.
Obama already blew it off - as he should.
I heard that Bristol Palin's vagina has legally been classified as a clown car.bfoust wrote:she's 16? wow she's gonna be an old mother...
Exactly, and I think this choice (among many other things) calls McCain's judgment in to question.Lisa wrote:At this point, her selection has not affected my voting decision....I'm still focusing on the Presidential candidates and not their running mates.
Thats the biggest rerason any candidate chooses a running mate. To pull votes they wouldn't normally get.BadDazeRob wrote: Let's be honest, there were many other better, more experienced choices for veep. This was strictly an attempt to sway Hillary Dems.

Obama did it and so did Mccain.
I think it was a smart move. If you think it's gonna sway all of Hillary's supporters you're wrong. Some will, however vote just so there is a Vagina in power.
Just like some old white guys will vote Obama, because the VP is a respectable Old white guy.
Agreed.songsmith wrote:I think Palin should leave the race, but not for the reasons you'd think. Remove all the politics from this... She has a special-needs kid, a 5-month-old, and now her oldest is pregnant. To put her family through the most contentious election ever right now... is simply selfish. It's not fair to the teen, or the baby, or the Down Syndrome little guy. Or America... politics has to draw blood to get noticed anymore, and I don't want to hurt little kids... nor should Palin get a pass because she has these particular kids.
The Republican Party supposedly stands on family values. This mother chooses politics over family, and shouldn't be congratulated or emulated. The timing couldn't be worse. Republicans should be worried about this, the backlash could be an election-ender. Go ahead and get another woman, or another hardline conservative, I don't care, but don't throw your kids under the bus for a political position.
Even if you ignored the ethics violations, earmarks hypocrisy and lack of experience, Sarah Palin is the worst possible choice I could think of. I would have rather had McCain's prior choices, either Lieberman (I like him, he's a renegade) or Ridge (he was an excellent governor). The whole situation brings to mind the question, who would you rather be veep, the best person for the job, or the one who can get your team the most votes? Such is the reality of American politics, the imperfection of democracy.------>JMS
That is a good point.BadDazeRob wrote:I dunno, if any political party is going to preach morality and suggest that the other party is immoral by comparison, then this should be a big deal. I mean, the Oval Office hummer was brought up already in this thread, so I say let's talk about Gov. Palin's morality and her ability to "govern" her own household.
If a blowjob is relevant, than so is this.
