MAYBE they just wanna see what your band is up to and check you out without all the strings attached....

I mean no disrespect to anyone. It's just a question.

I fully agree. One of the biggest headaches I have to deal with when my monthly article deadline time approaches is having to do internet detective work to find out whether a band's website or their Myspace has the more up-to-date information, or even lists their band members, etc. And I've even seen national acts that don't keep their websites or Myspace sites updated.I think both have their place. The biggest thing with either is UPDATES!!!!
I have seen way too many bands have schedules that are way behind.
Whatever. Its also for people to contact old friends out of the area and just a way to have fun, express yourself in a silly fun way or whatever you're into.Myspace is for teenage girls, guys with no real friends, and overweight women who don't have a life.
Hmmm...are you sure you're talking about myspace?metalchurch wrote:I think myspace pages are stupid, and I don't find my life that interesting enough to try and advertise about it.

I have some friends who have one and i bust their balls all the time about it. It's like an online diary or something.
My mood for today:
Whatever. There's another way of contacting these rarely seen people.DickShackBass wrote:Whatever. 90% of my myspace friends are people I very rarely see in "real life" and its fun to have daily contact with them.

It's called a telephone.
Sorry if I touched a nerve with my first post.
