Up to speed: Decay is a local drummer who's played for years and is pissed off at the local scene because he never became a rockstar playing here. We'll all idiots, but it doesn't matter, because "the pros on the road know his name." He's going to Berkley right now, so we must all bow to his superior awesomeness, which is what Brian's joke was about.
