Fav local band

Post by Team Transylvania »

Recently, I was thinking about what my favorite local band was. There are alot of bands I like around here, but for me, NAILDRIVER is prob my fave local band. They kick some ass, and are really awesome guys.
I saw them lastnight, and was just blown away again.

So, out of curiousity, what are some other people's fave local band?

Isn't that the band that Floyd is in? I haven't seen them yet but I want to. Keith I thought thay EOD did some really cool and unique shit the night we saw you guys. I also liked Rob's band, forget the name... I also really like the embalmed and Hair Force... I guess that there are just too many...

I am going to go see Kitty whipped on the 28th and hopefully I will really get whipped. We shall see....

This is a hard one to answer because SO many of you guys I've never seen. And I can accept all styles of music..But of those I'd have to say based on perfomance, fun times, and all around "just great guys':
In no special order:

"House Of Cain" (GREAT GUYS! and I still wear out the CD!)
"FED UP" (Not only great guys but Brain cracks me up with his between comments!)
"Atomic Blonde" (Allot different from your average show...But IT'S GOOD!!! and you'll hear allot of songs you remember but no one plays!!)
"Cyphin" (GREAT GUYS TO WORK WITH PERIOD!... Eric is class act, Jason's not only a good friend, but awesome front guy. Skull...ummm...well..."main burp dude!"..LOL)
"SCREAM" {Whom we have worked together most... TRUE PROS!!!...Great bunch on and off stage....Jeff and I have been long time friends. Robert lays down a solid back line, Eddie and Skip...What can you say???...They shred!!... Kevin....well....I'd say the truth but then he'd kick me in the nutz!!...LOL...GREAT GUYS!...always a fun time!!)
Johnnie Stevens acustic act...(Great guy... FUNNY STUFF!!!..A pleasure to share the stage with!!)
DOUG FORSHEY!!!!. PRO ACT!! Nuff said!!

More to come but I am getting yelled at by my better half to get off here and eat dinner...so enough butt kissin for the moment...LOL

In no order...

Silver Sunday
Serious Jones
Hurricanes
Plush

Best young band, Crazy 88. All teens who can do classic rock that is much older than they are...watch for these boys as they get older.

But there are a lot of very good metal bands in the area. I don't know who is good and not because I haven't really heard them since we switched to only classic, 80's and 90's.
