I know Paul, and I greatly respect your opinion. I just get tired of the anti-Cliff rhetoric. As far as both of those guys go, the first three albums alone put them in a class worthy of respect. I've stood in front of both of them when they were giving it their all, and half the people on here would give their right nut for half the talent they displayed. I've also stood in front of Ellefson, Stanley Clarke, Geezer, Geddy, and a whole slew of fantastic bassists. ) a few years ago, and one of the biggest obstacles I found right away was muting, since I use to do 95% of my muting with the ring and pinky fingers on my right hand. When I started using a pick, I had to start muting more with my fretting hand, which was difficult at first. Well, I'm probably getting way off topic here.
