My God, look what the cat dragged in, indeed.

Brett, we all age, brother, but for fuck's sake, please do it gracefully. Shave your head, ditch the facelift, and I won't even get into the eyeliner that you've been wearing.

On the plus side, he still doesn't look like Jani Lane.

considering the man is in his mid-40's (and his health isn't exactly excellent) he looks pretty damned good. He's not my fave Poison member (I'm a CC gal) but I wouldn't kick the guy out of bed for eating crackers either.

According to legend, he can't ditch the headband or the hats he wears because he is balding and that covers the area. And besides that, you can talk all kinds of shit about the guy, but he gets more trim than any one of us could combined. Trust me on that. We opened for the man and he could have had his pick of any women there.

I tried to watch this show and it just comes off sad, but I think webmiztris may be on to something. Use Keith Richards as the Rock star. If nothing eles it would be funny, digusting but funny.

the sad thing is, even if it were Keith Richards on Rock of Love, there would still be 20 20-something girls who never even heard of him before acting like stupid skanks to get his attention. I mean - just look at Flava Flav. he literally looks like a turd and they still can't keep their hands off of him!

He kind of looks like a woman, his eyes are weird, his face/chin are weird, the bandana is lame, and overall it looks like they made him from silly putty.

Fuck. I should just go kill myself now then.
This guy is a douche. His music is the most horrible shit I have ever heard.

For fucks sake Hugh Heffner gets more ass than a toilet seat too.
How cute is that dried up dildo?

The thread was about grasping middle age GRACEFULLY.

If you argue that he is then maybe you need the same advice.

You know if you cut all the dirty words out of his posts, all you have left is a few spaces, commas, and apostrophe's?

Yes, I do realize that. If they would I would really have to do some re-evaluating.

I also realize, that you still haven't realized YOU MISSED THE POINT.

I'll type slow and try to be sensitive to your E-feelings.

When I think AGING GRACEFULLY I think of people who have moved on with their lives/ are not still acting like they are 22 years old.

I believe that's what the OP was talking about.
If I was off base, Paul please set me straight and will formally apologize to any offended Rockpagers, and even send Mr. Michaels a written statement rescinding my personal opinion on an internet messageboard.

im very glad that i wasnt old enough to be aware of the horrible music from 80's hair bands when they were popular. who cares how much those guys got laid? i sure dont. no amount of ass could get me to play that stuff. and NO im not talking about HF1. i like those guys alot.
im talking about the actual hairband chumps. they all looked like jackasses and pouted their lips and shit. bret michaels STILL does it. dude, pouting your lips is OVER. he hasnt realized that.

Now, THAT'S funny! He does look sort of like a turd, too.

Bret, my man, let it go. They're talking you into these shows, and you don't seem to understand that they're portraying you as a pathetic aging lothario, and though I've only watched a few minutes of a few episodes, your character just keeps getting shallower and shallower and more sad.
The guy's not exactly a rocket scientist anyway, and while he seems like a goodhearted dude, the show just keeps working the "douche" angle. They're playing him, pure and simple. Really, who would fall for one of the skankmonkeys they have on there?
For the ladies who still want to kiss his doodle, um... why? Is it because he got lots of nookie? I used to get mad poonani, too, and I'm fat and soft now... why not me? Is it because he's rich? If he was rich, would he be whoring out the last of his self-respect on cable? Is it because you got to see his terwilliger in the Pamela Anderson netvid? Didn't you notice he was looking at his weenie a lot in the monitor? Isn't that weird that he's boning one of the most famous hot pieces of ass of the last 20 years, and he's looking at himself? I just know that, if I was nailing her on video, I'd have more to think about than whether my dong was framed and lit properly. Of course, maybe he's REALLY into cinematography. He's a great artist, you know.
Maybe we should just leave him alone. Rock of Love is hardly serious artistic fare, but Bret and the Boys haven't ever been known as serious art. I'd never put Poison on the same page as a real metal band. Plus, if someone offered me in 1986, all the money, drugs, and cootchie I could consume, I'd have worn a tutu if they wanted me to. Sing it with me, y'all!... UUUUUUUUUUUUN-SKINNY-BOP-BOP-BOP!!!---->JMS

Oh........... :D
My dad will be 50 this year and he refuses to cut his hair, stop partying OR act his age. I don't see anything wrong with acting young even if you're not. I plan to do it until the day I die! What are people supposed to do? Cut their hair, shrivel up and become boring homebodies just because they hit 30 or 40? Pffft!!!

Well, I doubt your dad is doing it to try to restimulate a "well over" career based on doing it.

Just sayin theres a difference between your dad and this guy.
