Very cool thanks... We play both Originals and covers...obviously..in a bar we do more covers..but have enough to drop a LP in recording...which we are looking to do soon. Money...really at this point is not a goal for the band, Id say getting our stuff out there and seeing what the people like...an...

Which is better...or better yet...what are the thoughts of bands with one or the other. Having a band member get you the gigs all the time...or get sombody as a manager?

I have an OLD tube Peavy Duce amp 2/12 120watt. The previous owner said it was struck by lighting (Got it free.....) The clean chan works but nothing else...where would be a good, CHEAP place to get this back in working order? or is this something fixable at home?

Although it takes a certain crowd, and fan base for originals...starting off its a lot easier to get into venues playing covers...mixing in originals, getting fans, then introducing them to your own stuff....I dont know...its a toss up. If your originals kick some serious tail..you would not need to...

Ok, our band The Lucky 13's are looking for what should be in a Press Packet....or what ever you call it...Basicly, the information you give to a venue or bar owner to show your band. I was thinking Cover with info on the CD case? 3-4 songs? (Should they be all originals or...?) should there be more...

Also to add...We are affiliated with The Ties that Bind. They are a production company that incorporates tons of bands together to form one show...usually a festival or outdoor event.
