The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

were actually camping out on the river and filleting over the fire. but your going to see the new movies so guess ur SOL. I'm kinda skeptical about going to see the movie b/c of his voice that may ruin it for me it just doesn't sound the same.

As a movie and not comparing it to the original, I'd give it a 7 or a 7.5. Robert Englund will always be Freddy. The new guy was pretty good, though. It followed the story pretty closely. Good amount of gore and the effects were good. The last scene was way better than that awful last scene in the original.
