Seriously now, songsmith, that "all" male dancers are gay is something you men like to tell yourselves, but there's no way they're ALL gay. At least from what I've seen on HBO, a lot of women in the same profession are also gay, but I won't ask why men want gay women!

YUCK!!! No gay guys for me....don't find them the least bit attractive. I also don't find male dancers attractive!!! I actually find them kinda gross!!! I like REAL guys, not ones that wear shiny thongs and wave their weenies in your face....wait, real guys do that too!!! (the weenie waving thing...why do guys do that?) I'm sure they're not all gay but I'd have to agree that a bunch are...or atleast seem it!!!

Sorry, Yank. Gay as a gay horse galloping full speed down Gay Road on his way to Gayville. I spent a few hours with these guys. I'm not the least bit jealous of them, they don't threaten my manhood, I don't wish I looked liked them, because... they put their thingies in one another. They are gay.
I truly wanted there to be even one straight guy, because it would make for a fascinating conversation, but every single one was a bottom. I'm even okay with that, but they were all bitchy diva-types.
The funny scene was rehearsal. "...Okay, wath it sthtep-sthtep-turn, then shirts off, or sthtep-turn-sthtep then shirts?" And they called one another "boyfriend." That's so gay it's funny.
Now, before you argue that some of them are married, ask any gay man how many gay men are married.
Female exotic dancers seldom ever find patrons attractive, much less hook up with them, and many are at least mostly bi. I can accept that. The same holds true for the Chippy's, except that bisexuality in males is pretty rare. You either pillow-bite, or you like girls.

I feel like I just revealed a magician's secret or something.

I know plenty of straight male dancers. Granted their are quite a few gay male dancers too, but it would be unrealistic to say they all are. And as far as men obsessing over their bodies being gay, that smells like a gigantic pile of poo. Do mean to tell me every guy working out in gyms across america is gay. If it is than I wish more straight men would act like gay men. There is nothing worse than an itty, bitty, teenie, weenie hanging out of what looks like the jungles of Africa.

Whether they're gay or not, I've never been to see them...any exotic dancers, for that matter. What can I say, in many ways I've led a sheltered life...I was miserably married for much of my adult life and then went right to a major disaster.

I'm doing my darndest to try and make up for it all, though!

I can only speak for the guys I've met... The Chippendales. Supposedly the best. Gamma-Alpha-Yankee... gay. And I'm not backward, or stupid. Dancing with your shirt off does not make you a homosexual. Having sex with men, or wanting to... that does. I don't want to step on any toes here. They're very good at feigning attraction to women, they have to do that until they "come out" anyway... female dancers pretend to like fat sweaty guys, too, for cash.
As for vanity, to women, that might be physically attractive, but to guys, it represents the desire for a lesser male to be the "alpha," and to us it reads as insecure. Sure, I bathe and all, but I never had the desire to be a pinup, and don't care a lick about every woman wanting me. My wild oats were securely sown, and after a long difficult trip, I'm comfortable with who I am, African jungle and all.
In summation, if it primps like a woman, dances like a woman, talks sibilantly like a woman, and bitches like a woman, don't bet on it in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Straight men will always see effeminate men as lesser, it's biological (look up natural selection). And the Chippendales are gay. That part wasn't my idea, just a very funny observation.

After they were done, we had a nice herd, er crowd and we dedicated "All The Small Things" to the dance review.
