Great game! Props to the Colts, but it was an interception by Paulomaulo!
It shouldnt have been close.

Hey Manning
Even with the officials 3 VERY OBVIOUS attempts to end our season, WE DID IT... Hey Manning who is signing your melon now?
I'm glad I didn't have to fight in a war, I'm glad I didn't get killed or kill somebody, I hope my kids enjoy the same lack of manhood

I feel the same way...unreal! Why do the Refs dislike the Steelers?
Thank Heavens Ben made that tackle! They played the rest of the game awesomely! (Officials not withstanding.) I don't give the Colts any props...other than the 1 good call Manning made on 4th down, they were losing...I'd say it was obvious the Refs were trying to
help them. After Polamalu's obvious Interception was ruled not one - what a mind F for the Steelers...and when the ball was knocked loose from The Bus, I just about felt sick to my stomach, my nerves were shot. It didn't matter though, the Steelers hung in there and did it! WHOO HOO!!! Now, on to Denver...I wonder if Horse meat is anything like Beef or Venison?

GO GO GO GO GO STEELERS!

It definitely looked like the officials were trying to give that game to Indy. I was that blown Vanderjagt field goal away from declaring my own lifetime boycott of the NFL, because up to that point it looked like the officials were doing everything to enable Indy to either win the game or tie it and send it to overtime. But Vanderjagt missed it, and my faith in the NFL was restored.
If the Steelers remain as focused against Denver as they were against Indy, they can make their plans to be in Detroit. It won't be easy, though, I expect another close game.

Exactly Jim!
The first 2 drives were Steeler football as an assault with Indy's confidence dwindling. I loved seeing the stats for manning at 0-4 pass for 0 yard in the 1rst. Steelers did the first half then the zebras tried to even it, and that didnt work!

The way that kick hooked, it's as if the football gods were saying, "We're sorry, but there's NO WAY that Bettis' career is ending on a fumble."Jim Price wrote:I was that blown Vanderjagt field goal away from declaring my own lifetime boycott of the NFL, because up to that point it looked like the officials were doing everything to enable Indy to either win the game or tie it and send it to overtime. That game was full of shockers. The biggest was probably Boomer saying that he is glad the steelers won, and how they deserved it with the way the officials didn't call a couple of plays they should have. Not to mention over turning a interception that was there .. The guy hates the steelers, and to say that is probably the reason why the ice bergs are melting ..
GO STEELERS !!!! WE ARE GOING TO THE BOWL THIS YEAR !!!!

How about the offside no-call too? I think the NFL better take a long look at this crew and make sure they don't do playoff games again, although Indy fans probably think they did a great job and will request them for future games. N E X T Y E A R
If you book them, they will come..... Night Train Rocks!!!!!!!

I was on stage at the time and imagine almost shitting your pants whenever the ball was stripped from the bus. Pittsburgh played INCREDIBLE! They honestly deserved that win. Let's keep up this momentem and take it one game at a time. All I can say is Denver is going down to China Town!!!
The liver is evil....It needs punished.

Steelers win over colts and officials
I thought there were at least 3 very poor calls from the officials. It seemed that the officials we're playing for the Colts. The pass interferance that wasn't called, the offsides that wasn't called (what was that all about) and the interception. It shouldn't have been that close. I was biting my nails at the end after the Bettis Fumble, then the most accurate kicker in the NFL missed. What counts is on to Denver. Go Steelers!! I thought the Steelers would have to weather an early onslaught from the Colts, not a late one. Ben, way to play heads up ball. With all that Bettis has done in and for Pittsburgh, it was justice that no kicker, even the most accurate one ever, kicking at home, in a dome, from a makable distance, end JB's career with a fumble. That was one of the best Steeler games ever. Up there with the '95 AFC Championship vs. the Colts, '89 Wildcard game against the Oilers, and the playoff game a couple of years ago against Cleveland. It will take a superhuman effort to rise again for the Broncos but it can be done. I don't think they like all the Patriots "dynasty" talk that's going around.

What a game.
Hopefully, we don’t have to play 2 opponents (the Broncos and the Officials) next week.
Do any of you get the impression that the officials from the Saturday games (for the last 2 weekends) are calling up the Sunday officials and telling them “hey, we really made a crappy call tonight… if you get a similar play, you’ll have to make the same call”? The Randel El non-TD from last weekend and the non-call for Randel El this weekend have me wondering.

What game...The Steelers played awesome. Well enough to beat Indy with a hundred bad calls.
Oh, by the way, here is a prediction for next year:
Peyton Manning won't make it through the regular season. I played football for 12 years in school and 2 in college ( the first time..haha ) and you DON'T single out your O-line and say that they sucked. He will take more shots next year than he's taken his whole career now.
Way to be a baby, Manning. You win as a team, you lose as one.
Anyways f@#$ Peyton Manning, it's time for Denver.
